I have seen a few tournaments, and at the end when one of the guys win they pull out an object on a necklace or teather. I wondered what it was, because I hear they have to show them for sponserships or something.
Thanks.

The names Warrior Princess, Xena..Warrior Princess
AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

For those of you who don't want to visit the site,
the things are expensive. I think the cheapest is $129 and then the chain is another 40. So I dunno... Some people wear em. I have never seen a non pro wearing one though.

Since they've become a PBA approved accessory, someone has worn one of those QLinks on every single show. Mika, Barnes, Weber, Jaros, McCune, Pederson and many others wear it. And they swear by it.
I don't know if it works. But I haven't tried it yet.
More importantly, I'm certainly not so sure of myself that I KNOW it doesn't work.
They have a PBA-member discount. I'm seriously considering buying one just to see for myself.

Yeah, and the most expensive one is $839, and the chain is another $299! I just about swallowed my tongue. I'd better shoot 800 every time out if I get one of those things . .

The weekly signature series, by Hamster, presenting a mini-series of quotes from Shrek!
"Oh I'll find those stairs, I whip they butt too. They won't know which way they going. Give me a step right here and now, I'll step all over it, kick it to the curb. I am the stair masta, I've masta'd the stairs."

It's gold... what do you expect?
-
All the Lane 1 haters should latch onto this! I can see it now..."Q-LINK SUCKS!!!"
That's freakin insane!

Boom.

Solid gold, or "I look pretty but I'm about as fake as Michael Jackson's face" gold?

These are what they call PLACEBOS
They work with the psyche.
You think this will help you bowl better, and you do.
Not because of some rediculously expensive pendant, but because of the self-confidence you have that you derive from the pendant.

I'm neither good, nor consistent, which is why I bowl.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was waiting for someone with some real studies to disprove the studies already found on the QLink website. But obviously you have learned more than they have in your 19 years.
I look forward to your next nugget of knowledge and unconditional truth on this board, oh WAYouthBowler, great debunker of science and medicine.

they say they've done studies that are "double blind" which means it negates the placebo affect.....
Personally, I still don't believe it........but that's just my opinion

That's cool. I don't either... but like I already said, I haven't tried it yet.
So I am going to buy one. PBA members get the basic one for $75 (instead of $129) so it won't be such a big deal. Lord knows I've wasted more than that on drniks alone in a single night out on the town.
The only way I can make a qualified opinion on the product is to try it. I'm sure all the Lane 1 disciples can understand that logic.

I see how this works and it makes sense. I'll make it simple, it gives off subtle energies and electromagnetic fields. These type of signals go to your brain, and basically makes it concentrate better.
Wouldnt one of those concentration pills do the same thing?
