Fagan's rolling who?
« on: January 04, 2008, 08:33:00 AM »
Last I knew Michael Fagan was throwing AMF, but I think that was previous to Columbia being absorbed by Ebonite.  At least I thought AMF was being poured in San Antonio at the time...

Anyone have a lead on what he's using now?  He just took out Parker Bohn III in the round of 32 and threw 300 in the process.

Last I knew, he was a free agent. Prior to that, I think he was affiliated with Brunswick, then Storm. As of now, its anyones guess to what he was throwing.

He threw Storm last year on the C300 Classic show.  He's still a free agent after leaving Brunswick.

Last year on the show he threw a Storm Agent, the previous years he threw Brunswick. At the Pro-am in Milwaukee this year he was wearing an AMF shirt, but was throwing a Storm Passion. This tells me that he is probably a free agent and using whatever works for him.

Many free agents get paid to throw certain equipment if they make it to the show. Two years ago Scroggins was a free agent and used whatever he wanted during the week, then Track paid him to use their equipment if he made it onto the show.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I watched Fagan during a couple of regionals this summer.  He was using a mix of Storm and Roto stuff, which he seems to be sticking to.  I have no reason to see why he would have changed, it appears to be working fairly well for him.

Specifically, I saw an Agent, Thunderstruck Solid, and Mystic.  I'm sure he threw other stuff, but I was spending my time watching several bowlers.  Fun fact:  Fagan was throwing the Mystic on the Viper pattern and going right to left.  It was fun to watch.
