I don't care what anyone says not that I already know most of my opinions on this board are in the minority but I LOVE this tournament. This tournament showcases a true and fair style of brackets. Not that garbage where they have regular qualifying to a bracket style match play to a crapshoot of one game you win or lose on the finals but a true semi finals and finals that show a bowlers endurance and tactics on the lanes that you would never see in a tv finals. Despite the less the spectacular outcome remember that this was for a title, it had two different oil patterns, there were hot tv lights around, there was also the crowd and it was a 3 game total pin fall match. If I was a gambling man I would have placed a grand on Allen and who wouldn't. His leg injury is obviously the reason he has been struggling and even if it wasn't a factor today I know that Patrick never makes bad shots usually like that and I know by far he is not only the best left handed spare shooter on tour but one of the top 5 in my opinion. If it wasn't another day without those excuses Kretzer would have been crushed. However I do credit Brian Kretzer for hanging in there and he looked great by the late 2nd to 3rd game despite him throwing some of the worst tv shots I have seen since Bob Vespi but I will get past that and congrats on him winning his first title on the PBA tour!
