Go Vandaniker!
« on: February 02, 2007, 03:27:43 AM »
The hometown kid Eddie VanDaniker has a tough match against Del Ballard in the round of 16.  Hopefully he can make it through two more to make the show.  You all would be in for a real treat.

You think Sean Rash throws it good?  HA!  You ain't seen NOTHING yet.

Not only that... but DB Jr. managed to squeak past the #1 seed Tim Criss.  Impressive!

You think he's feeling the "hometown" crowd love this week?

Oh wait... If he still lives where his PBA bio says, El Paso is about 9 hours away from "home".

Should be an interesting match.  Old Guard vs. 21 y/o unknown... (no offense DP3, but I'm sure most people at the national level haven't heard of him)

No offense to Vandaniker, but I'll be pulling for my man Del, as I have ever since he broke on tour.

No offense taken.  But the last time I talked to one of my good friends who is exempt, he says that the whole tour has been "buzzing" about this kid as the next big thing in due time.  And it's harrrrd to impress the likes of Voss, Barnes, Willams as they've seen them all come and go.  If either one of them make the show it'll be fun & freshing.

Does anyone have the inside track on current match results? PBA.com is "experiencing difficulties" with Live Scoring.  Thanks, in advance.

I was there inputing scores for the live site. I saw Ryan S. defeat wes M.4-3. Wes had 3-1 lead, then Ryan found a line that he could strike on , and won three straight. D. Castillo goy by R. Russell 4-3. Brian K. beat jos C.4-1 Brian was throwing the ball well.

I've heard many good things about this guy. I hope he makes the show. I think he has a good chance against Edwards.
