Well, I decided to do this again.  Don't expect updates extremely often, as i'm working an 8-10 report for school.  Oh joy.

What's in the bag:

Semifinals
Chris Barnes-  Formula, overdrive in 10th
Tommy Jones- Big Time
Tony Reyes-  Absolute Inferno, Goliath at 10 pin
Patrick Girard- Absolute Inferno

Finals
Tommy Jones-  Big time
Tony Reyes- Absolute Inferno

Match Scores:

Match 1:  Tommy wins against Barnes, 258-212.
Match 2:  Reyes defeats Girard, 237-202.
Final:  TOMMY JONES defeats Reyes, 266-217.  TJ had the perfecto going until the 9th when he left his first 10 pin of the day.

Skills Challenge:
Parker Bohn III defeats Brian Voss 3 strikes to none to advance to the finals.

Did I hear that right 148 games over the past 4 weeks for Tony, not including practice? Man that is a lot of games. After being in Birmingham watching the stop there some of these guys are always practicing. One night it was like 2 in the morning and they are practicing.

That Big Time sure looks good rolling down the lane, silver/black is quite a combo.  Oh yeah, TJ is a monster when he gets lined up.

booo, im at work and cant watch. glad to hear an ebonite guy won!! Jones is a great bowler and deserves a win. Reyes, also a great bowler. I get to see him bowl during the national tour's off season out in the regionals.

great bowling to both!

Nesta, we gotta get out to a Giants game this year!!

I like TJ's look with the BigTime. Nice Smooth revs.
I like Reyes look better, smoother & more accurate.

I hate when the guy who executes better doesn't win. Reyes had 8 stoned, dead solid balls with one out of the pocket, while TJ had 5 or 6 at most. Another good case for making pins harder to knock down: to make gutters the regulated depth and to remove the bounciness of side boards. (Notice I said nothing about oil patterns or balls!)

The Absolute that Tony was throwing was burning out a little in the midlane... hence the single pin leaves. He made a few speed adjustments and went high and actually got lucky in leaving nothing seroiusly retarded. Good bowling to both this whole week. It's tough to make it to a show!

Jones revrate is easily around 460-480.  I'm at 330-340 according to bowlersMap and he looks like he can rev it up twice as much as I can.

Well FINE then!

Hmm, if tommy's rev rate is about 475, then comparing myself to that, i have more revs than i thought.

Congrats Tommy Jones.

Congrats to my buddy Tony Reyes. Keep knocking at the door and
i know he will win soon. He bowled great yesterday. If he carried those 2 solid
10 pins it would of been on from there.

FYI, Barnes was using two different Formulas on the show.  One pin under middle, C.G kicked to thumb positive quadrant, and the other pin over middle, C.G in palm.
