Check out PBA.com....Tim Mack has made the Round of 32.  He'll be bowling Brian LeClair.

Nice to see him out there....be pretty amazing if he made the show, on a major nonetheless.

I like Tim Mack, its a shame all the injuries he's had, but bowling great this week.  Hope things continue to go well for him in the future.  How sweet would it be to see multiple non-exempt players make the show?

I would love too see a non-exempt field for once, it would be interesting to see how fast these guys would buy a PBA card to become exempt if that would be allowed.

Tim Mack does not have a chance tonight. Up to this time in three games he has thrown only four strikes. Very rare.

tim mack swept 4-0 by brian leclair. i still maintain tim mack is a good player but perhaps not as good as everyone says he is. he falls into the same category as robert smith, rudy kasimakis, patrick healey, jr., and brian kretzer. all of these were great amateur  and/or megabucks players but other than smith and healey, jr., have had no success on the pba tour.

I would have liked to have gotten a live look at Mack, but I also like LeClair, the eternal underdog. Seems like a nice guy and I'd like for him to get a title before his career is done.

brian leclair has had a "journeyman" type pba career. has bowled for a title twice losing both times to walter ray williams, jr. to beat a player of macks caliber is a great feather in his cap. i'm sure there were many who gave leclair little chance in beating mack.

How has Robert Smith not had success on tour? Do you own a television?

northface28, i do own a television------a 42" panasonic widescreen plasma unit. when you combine this with directv hd you get an unbeatable picture. i never said robert smith wasn't a good player. but, there were many who said with his power game he would take the pba tour by storm. that didn't happen did it ? he lives and dies by the power ball. he isn't nearly as versatile as really needs to be to be a dominant player on the pba tour.

if you go back to when robert smith was younger and injury free his power game still did not make him a dominant player on the pba tour. he would have great weeks when his ball speed and power would excel on patterns with friction to the right. but on tougher lane conditions or where he couldn't play his "a" game he would finish in the middle of the pack.

who ever said that tim mack isn't as good as everyone says look at his entire profile he was the big man in the international sean before he went to the pba. umm isn't he still the captain on the weber cup team and usually out bowls the exempt bowlers. the fact is has over 66 titles all over the world and a 3 time bowler of the world. so i wouldn't say he ain't no good just cause he had some injuries
