First, the PBA site warns you not to read ahead.  Second, I don't go to the Columbia site.

Well theres been two different winners announced in this thread, so who can you believe? Who even says one of those two win? I know who wins, but I am still going to watch, and you should too, for the PBA needs it.

I'd like to thank any and all of you jerks who spoiled this for me. I went out of my way not to read the stuff on the PBA site so that I could watch on the show. Thanks a freaking lot.

I dont even get to watch it on tv here. I pay for strike pass. So for normal weekly tour stops.. I dont even come to this website between the time it airs over in the USA and when the strike pass has been put up and ive watched it.

Always seems to get ruined if i come here and read things.

good luck and high scoring

Jeeez, why do people whine about others spoiling it for them? The world does not stop talking about sports just for you. When the NCAA championships are played...if you don't watch it when it comes on, you can't expect people to quit talking abot it just b/c you missed it the first time around. Its the same here as it would be if you were walking down the street and overheard someones conversation about the game. You're not gonna stop them and say "hey thanks buddy for ruining it for me." If you don't want to know the outcome of any given event, then I suggest you cut yourselves off from the world until you watch. Thats the only way you can be safe from spoiling it. It is especially crazy to come here to a bowling forum and expect people to post a warning about what their talking about so your show is'nt spoiled. Come on...its a bowling forum! Of course the event is going to be discussed, so why even log on until you've watched for yourselves, if its that big of a deal? I'm not trying to single out anyone here, but I have seen many people here get angry b/c they find out the results of an event before they watch. OK, now i'm done ranting so you can bash me if you feel you're still right.

legend, is the NCAA championship on right after the motel 6 show? I Think the show is on at 3 (motel 6) and the ncaa at 4:30?

Legend,

It's called decency.  You don't put the winners name in the title because the top 10 recent posts show up on the home page.  There are people on here who work swing shifts, have to do family things, and other activities that forbid them from seeing the telecast when originally aired.  Sometimes you look at the internet before you watch your tape.  I avoid the PBA's site and the PBA forums here because I know people naturally want to talk about it.  However, when the winner's name is announced in the title, that choice (of being surprised at the outcome) is taken from you.  Even in this case it was a stupid joke, but still once you think you know the winner, you might have read the entire thread and got tricked into seeing the actual winner.  Fortunately, I saw this post before the actual winner was revealed, but others weren't.  I still can't believe we must remind people of this almost every week.

I dont think it should matter if people put it in the title or not. If people dont want to know about it, then why go to a bowling forum period. Just b/c you don't go to the PBA section doesnt mean you're safe. People post stuff in the wrong section all the time. I'm not saying thats right, but some people don't realize theres specific sections for each type of topic. Anyways, my point is...if people don't want to know anything about an event, then they should'nt even risk it by coming to a bowling forum.
