To all who bash Mushtare...
« on: December 03, 2008, 10:45:32 PM »
You guys always focus on the negative aspect of his bowling... i.e. not bowling well in the TQR, when last april he beat exempt pro Ryan Shafer in a regional on the Shark pattern. The "hardest" pattern on the pba... give the kid some respect, just let the 900s go instead of bringing that into EVERYTHING... besides, how many of you who bash him have bowled a TQR? I dont agree with the 900s, but you also have to let a person try to prove himself... which he has done, and with more experience can do again.

How is my post an ignorant post... the kid has shown he can bowl. Ok having 2 900s is rediculous, and obviously sketchy. Look forward not backward... he has done well in pba competition, but noone will give him the credit for it
--------------------

He has 2 sanctioned 900's=hard enough to believe

He claims to have 5 900's=not possible

He is full of sh!t and deserves everything he gets from us haters. If I were bowling that tqr, I would have piled all over him until he cried his cheating little eyes out!

I agree!  He didn't do any of them plain and simple.  Whatever bad karma or criticism he gets, he has it coming.  HE started it by claiming these scores in the first place.  He may be a good bowler, maybe even a player.  I don't care if he wins a couple Tour tournaments, he's still a piece of crap liar as a person and not a man.  Cheater period.

If he wasn't Mr. 5-900s in practice, then nobody would care about how he did in one regional and a TQR. He'd be like all of the people who finished ahead of in the TQR, some name that we wouldn't care about. Without the "900"s he would be insignificant and just another bowler that didn't, and probably wont ever, make it.

You can't just forget about the 900's when you're talking about Mushtare. He'd be a no-name hack if it weren't for those 900's, they're the only reason he's in the bowling public's eye. Not bringing up the 900's when talking about Mushtare would be like not bringing up the Holocaust or World War II when showing off an Adolf Hitler painting. Just because the guy knew his way around an easel doesn't mean he's some pot-smoking uber-nice guy like Bob Ross.

Bob Ross would call Mushtare's 900's "happy little mistakes".

You're missing the point. His doing badly in the TQR further justifies crticism of the dishonor and embarassment he brought onto ALL bowling by those phony 900 scores. The USBC was backed into a corner and had to allow them, but the falseness of those scores caused them to pass a law prohibiting non-witnessed honor scores.

What he caused bowling can never be forgiven, even if he wins 100 PBA tournaments. He made us a laughing stock, when we needed respect.

Totally agree!

His 900's were total BS!  He's made this bad name for himself!
