Mile High Pro-Am
« on: November 05, 2005, 08:09:21 AM »
I had the opportunity to bowl in a Pro-Am this morning in Lakewood, Colorado.  What a blast.  There were six PBA bowlers that would throw 5 frames a rotate.
I got to bowl with:
Ryan Shaffer, Robert Smith, Walter Ray Williams Jr., Mike Edwards, Loschetter, and Paul Flemming.

Smith, WRW Jr, Edwards, and Flemming were really cool guys.  Loschetter hardly spoke to anyone.  Shaffer was complaining about the lanes last night in his match with Malott.  Smith has an insanely powerful ball.

If anybody has an opportunity, I'd highly recommend bowling in a Pro-Am.

I really like the fact that there are names that you know on the Pro-Am rosters now.  I went to a World Championship Pro-Am 2 years ago and got stuck with regional players.  Tim Penner actually had a decent run that year, but I would have rather bowled with a now exempt bowler.
