Todays Telecast (spoilers)
« on: February 17, 2008, 02:55:31 AM »
What are they throwing:

Match 1
Pete Weber - Dull Storm Gravity Shift, Storm Agent
Billy Oatman - Hammer Black Widow Pearl, Hammer Blue Vibe

Great match between Billy O and Pete Weber.

Weber was throwing the Gravity Shift in the first few shots until he left that weak 7 pin, and the ball looked like garbage. But once he switched to the Agent, WOW. That Agent of his really took a hard left turn on the back end of this scorpion pattern. I feel bad for Billy, started off with a horrible ball reaction, but he really turned it around with that ball change to the Vibe. Good showing billy.

Match 2
Pete Weber - Storm Agent
Rhino Page - Ebonite Angular One Pin Up, Ebonite Angular One Pin Down

Oh Man...what a start to a match. Pete looked real solid up until the last few frames, and wow did he make a bad shot on the first shot in the 10th. Too bad for him, he really looked solid through this match. As for Rhino, Good Job Kiddo. He is real young and was able to keep up with Weber, and thanks to the botched first shot in the 10th, walk away with a win.

Match 3
Rhino Page = Pin Up Ebonite Angular One, Storm Gravity Shift
Walter Ray Williams Jr. - MoRich 'Nsane LevRG

Due to ESPN and their technical issues we missed the first three or four frames of this match, but it was a fun match to watch. Rhino bowled well today, should have switched away from that Angular One earlier when he went high the first time, but whats done is done. Cant say i liked watching WRW bowl today, i hate his ball reaction, but who cares what i think. Nice showing this week Rhino.

Match 4
Walter Ray Williams Jr. - MoRich 'Nsane LevRG
Mike Scroggins - RotoGrip Cell

Im glad to see WRW suffer today. I dont dislike him, i just dont want to see him win today. I laughed when he left the 10 pin, and i laughed when he left the flush 9 pin. Congrats to Mike Scroggins. He bowled a great match not including that one high shot split. He really is making that Cell look great...or is the Cell making HIM look great? Who knows. Congrats either way Mike Scroggins, keep up the good work.

Anybody consider a Complete NV as the ball the guy used?

Ball was much lighter in color over all than the Complete NV. Looks like we will be seeing the Cell again today from Scroggins though, at least that is what he was throwing in the clip of him right before the commercial break.

Wow... really thaught Pete had the whole telecast... with the ball reaction he was looking at there in the 2nd game thaught he could go all the way, last shot looked way to slow.

Congrats to Mike Scrogs.

BowleRKIdR,
You are obviously very jealous of Walter Ray.

Glad to see WRW lose, I can't stand the guy. Laughed when he missed the spare, he dead yanked it and blamed the ball for hooking too much....

Pete looked like his old self again.

It was heartwarming to see Scroggins give Walter Ray such a nice, respectful handshake and gracious, sportsmanlike words after the title match - oh wait, that didn't happen. Scroggy walked behind Walter Ray when he was finishing up and grabbed the trophy and then held it up for all to see until the cameras went off.
Oh well - maybe next time.

joe jr., pete weber looking like his old self isn't necessarily a good thing. or perhaps his vulgar crotch-chop is just what younger impressionable viewers need to see ?
