"Wired for Sound"
« on: April 04, 2007, 05:35:37 AM »
Not sure if anyone has brought this up before, but is it really necessary for them to do their "wired for sound" replays?

They show a replay of the shot we just saw, except they don't show the lane.  I just saw the shot and heard what the player said, so what's the point of hearing it again?  Could be just me but I think it's annoying.

Oh nevermind, I guess people do like that.  This is why they have them mic'd up.

Yea I don't get the whole "wired for sound" thing either. It does get a little tedious. Ah well...maybe one day they'll get rid of it. Kinda like what happened with the "Miller Six Pack" lol

I think they could do without the beep or whatever you want to call that sound when they start the replay.  Hmm, they never do it for the f-bombs...  Or for Devaney's fricative.
