There's not much for Schlemer to do if everybody is throwing the same ball and he doesn't need to make any recommendations on different equipment to throw.

Congratulations Tom.Another Michigan bowler doing well, keep up the hard work it is paying off.
 Why is it that people belittle the accomplishments of others,does it make them fell better about
 themselves? Tom works hard to be success at the sport he loves.He finally has some success then
gets ripped on. Tom is a great person, I wish we had more people like him in bowling.

I could not agree more Roco.The arena lanes are so old, the ball hooks at your feet. I have practiced
there on Fridays during the fall and summer before they oil,I end up using plastic.And when they oil it's
still free hook.You are also right about the mfgs.I'm hearing the same thing from the people
I know.Also many bowlers are not pleased about this.I'm sure Chris Schlemmer  is bored,but with all the hard  work he does he deserves some extra rest.Chris lives in the Detroit area now so this extra time he has at home will only make him more of a  animal when the tour starts out on the road later on .

I dont think anyone is throwing urethane on the longer patterns like scorpion and shark.

why not urethans makes these patterns more  playable.. especially in thunderbowl.

On the cheetah and viper they worked great but there is no dry boards to the right on any of the other patterns. The rest of the patterns generally start in the track or deeper and migrate in from there you just cant create the angles with urethane you need to carry. I heard the new shark has 80 units of oil 10 to the gutter, I don't care what it is it will not hook out there.
