Where has TJ been all year? I'm sure he's cashing a check every week and making $$, but he hasn't been on TV all year.

Alright I just checked and he did win once, probably the tourny I missed. It's still a slow year for him right now.

Maybe he's just coming off his streak.  Four titles per year is unsustainable.  Before 04-05, he was making a couple of shows per year and making modest amounts of money, he wasn't in the top 5 or maybe even top 10.  Even the greats like PB3, WRW, and Duke went through two- or three-year periods where they were on TV every other week and winning titles once a month.  They cooled off.  TJ's just back to being an excellent bowler, certainly among the tops on tour right now, but not the dominating force he was the last two years.

Personally, I have been enjoying a TJ-less TV year.

First of all, he has made 2 television appearances this season from the Masters and won a title also. May not be this year but the second half of the season isn't over. He's also made tons of match play appearances this season.

The only reason he is not racking up a bunch of titles this season is due to the scoring enviorment being so high. When it's this ridiculously high, anyone can win any week. That is why you have 7 bowlers that are canidates for POY. Tommy will win another one or 2 when this season is over and I predict one of those will be one of the 3 majors.

hahaha i think im watchin too much PBA shows on youtube that im having the "that's right" from TJ everytime i get a high flush
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

or my favorite "COME ON!!!"

He's greatness and a living legend already in his young career. How does anyone not see that? When it's all said and done he will be the best bowler of the 00's.

In a post earlier this year, the community seemed to agree that he's Tommy "That's Right" Jones.

Hey, there's worse things to be called, like Sean "Diaper" Rash.

TJ isn't going anywhere.  Walter Ray Williams has gone under the radar at times in his career as well.  The competition is tough out there.

Ditto.  No Tommy Jones and no Robert Smith makes this season of bowling very uninspiring.  The only week I got excited and watched the whole telecast is when Billy Oatman was on and had a great championship round and nearly won it all.  He has personality, he is different, he represents the underdog - someone we can all relate too because he is the common man given great opportunity!

I agree that this year has been VERY boring as far as shows go.  Sadly enough, rather than seeing the guys i like, & rooting them on.  I tend to be rooting AGAINST the guys i dont like.  PA & Sean Rash to name 2.  I find myself hoping for them to leave something, not really hoping the guy theyre bowling strikes, or even wins, i just dont want them winning.  I cant wait for robert smith to come back, & for TJ to get his stuff together & make a couple shows again.

I miss watching the bowlers that get REALLY into it, but arent lame or as$holes about it.

You and me both man.  I was on the edge of my couch and hoping he would strike out and win.  With as hard the PBA is now to make a telecast, I doubt we will see him for some time.
