It appears O'Neil outlasted McCune and took over the 5th spot.  I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near McCune right now!!!

We have to ask ourselves...does anyone ever actually WANT to be near him?

McCune was throwing it pretty good through qualifying.  Absolutely CRUSHING the rack with that ball speed he had and I had NEVER seen a black widow nasty with so much surface on it then the one he was using.  However I could see him struggle a little more after the oil broke down some and that heavy sanded ball was burning up.  But he was still bowling well then too.  However as good as he was doing it didn't shake a stick at Fagan 2 pairs to the right.

Seems like Fagan will be the one to beat come tomorrow.  Dominated qualifying and pretty much all of match play.  I guess the question will be, does WRW or PDW have anything for him?  Should be an interesting semifinal match if it happens, between PDW and WRW.

Even though Mike tore it up all week long... in a tournament with the "Weber" name on it I have to think its going to be mean more for Pete... he is my pick to win it.

Rooting for O'Neil, wouldn't be surprised if WRW took it down.

Oh well, I was really hoping that Shafer had retired. I hate watching that guy bowl. Thank the lord for the DVR.

Why? Pete sucked the big one last year also in his father''s tournament. His time is over UNLESS somehow he manages to resurrect himself, UNLESS all the others self-destruct.

Given how his former killer instinct slaughtered people in days'' gone by, it''s sad to see his current performances the last few years on TV. He should have won 10 more than he has, and be way ahead of WRW, but he has just dropped by the wayside.

Maybe he has one more in him. Is this the one? One can only wonder.

i think if pdw can get past the first match and gain some tv confidence and have a good line he'll take it down but like mentioned above haas seem to just crumble on tv. im rooting for him just because i feel he wants to win on this pattern and tournament so bad

weber should have 10 more titles by now ?  i seem to remember marshall holman saying that his lack of mental focus cost him at least 10 titles........
