40 Mark Edwards over 25 Edward VanDaniker Jr.
All other matches, the top seed won. I can't remember seeing that before.

Those were in the bottom half of the bracket. There were a few others in that half, too (Oatman over Mika, Wolfe over Jurek).

Bottom half or top half, they are all upsets.
I cannot believe Weber lost. In my eyes that
is a huge upset.

Walter went to 7 games against someone I never heard of. Very close to an upset.
Oatman beating Mika definitely an upset

I'm not arguing that. I'm saying that my observation was based strictly on the top half of the bracket, nothing else. It's rare in the weeks the PBA uses head-to-head to find that much continuity among any group of games, yet the top half of today's bracket was one match away from being "perfect" in terms of higher seeds moving on. You won't even find that at the NCAA tourney.
Weber's upset so far is the biggest surprise. That's almost like a 16 seed beating a 1 in the NCAA tourney.

Vinny D'Ambrosio is an excellent bowler from Staten Island.

Well first off it was actually MIKE Edwards. And considering their careers I'm not sure if it can technically be considered an upset. Yes EVD has been bowling excellent this year, but between Edwards experience and knowledge out on tour I'm not sure he was actually considered an underdog. That would kind of be along the same lines of WRW beating Mallot and calling it an upset. Yes I understand going strictly by the seeding it is an upset, but still..

The Mark/Mike thing was my error. I have a close friend named Mark Edwards and I transpose those two all the time.
