After spending time around this guy, I hope for the future of our sport, and for it's image everywhere, that this guy disappears from the face of the earth.

Throwing his equipment, yelling at people, throwing more equipment, hitting furnishings in a center - the guy should lose his exemption. Class is class - and this guy has NONE.

Yes she is and if you've never seen him blow up then you must have watched him bowl a 300. He made the show once this yaer and kept his cool, but he is a time bomb!

I'm only watching the live scoring on PBA.com.  What's up with Duke and 2 opens already?

4-9 and a 4-10

Both bowlers are lost on the right lane

The right lane has been trouble for both bowlers.  First Norm left the 4-10, and then the 4-9.  Chris has left the 3-6-9-10 there and then got smacked with a stone 8.

Chris is in the lead now, but whoever figures out the right lane first will likely win.

Since I am in the office and only have live scoring, it looks like both figured out the problem lane but then lost the other...is that accurate?

OK, I just became a big Chris Collins fan.  I mean, I know him and all - bowled with him in regional events.  But I really don't want Jaros to win and my 2 favorite PBA bowlers (besides myself, of course) are PB III and whoever is bowling against Walter Ray.  The jerk.

Not really.  Norm left a 4 pin and a 10 pin on relatively good shots.  Chris made a poor shot and came in high, leaving the 3-6-10.  He flushed a strike in the 10th to shut out norm on the left, and wasn't really worried about the filler.

Wow, Mumzie!  I really thought I was the only one who felt this way about Collins.  We watched him at the tour stop in Phoenix in January, and he was really struggling.  I felt pretty bad for him at first.  Then he threw an awesome shot that struck and I applauded, as did several others.  He looked toward us in the gallery and said in a very loud voice, "Dont (nasty expletive) clap for one (nastier expletive) strike."  He followed that with "Idiots."  Then he proceeded to kick his bag, slam his body into a seat and pound his fist against his head.  Needless to say, we were pretty stunned, and no one applauded again the rest of his game.

For the record, he wasn't the only one struggling on that pair.  But he was the only one who erupted into temper tantrums worthy of a two-year-old.  Heck, it was so bad that his brother threw up his hands and deserted him to go to the other end of the house to watch a friend bowl.

Are fans allowed to mouth back at the bowlers when that happens?  Man if this happened and my group of friends were there, we'd have been all over him.  Good bowler or not, you don't treat people like that.  Espeically when they are coming out and lining your pocket book.

So others have has the same impressions of Collins as me huh?  He bowled a scratch tournament in my local center a couple years back and finished 2nd because the other guy got some good breaks.  He cussed, kicked, and complained the entire time and left everyone in the center with a bad impression.  A good bowler he definately is, but has a terrible attitude.

Good bowler - but - yep - his worst nightmare is the opponent he has in himself.

I love it when my opponent has a temper tantrum...
