great to see 53 games of effort get decided by 1 game......... that's like taking the top 5 golfers after Saturday, starting them even and having them play a few holes..........

oh, well, should be a pretty good show.

Why would you say that this is sad to see Scroggins do well.  Just because Scroggins is not swinging the lane or because he doesn't have 500 revs does not mean that the guy hasn't earned it.  Trust me if you would have been there watching him bowl all week you would change your mind.  It may not be pretty but this guy doesn't miss.

Scrogs is a great bowler, I just hate watching him bowl. I'm guessing that is what the other guy is trying to say.

Don't care about revs or anything else. It's just not fun to watch him bowl. I've heard that from a lot of people. He still has to work and make money though.

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I hope scroggs wins so that he can win the player of the year.  The guy might not be the most flash guy out there but he deserves it.  After all the problems he had with spares early on in his career to be where he is at now says something about the guy

+1, it's all in the marketing, and that guy as awesome of a bowler as he is doesn't help the tour being on television. He does seem to be growing on people finally, because he is a great guy and a really good bowler.

Unfortunately, it's always gonna be like that.  It's always been like that.  There are very few PBA tournaments that are simply total-pins-wins.  Some of the early BPAA All Stars were like that, but it's just not how it is now.

Because I would rather watch paint dry than watch Scroggins bowl
dont care about watching people swing the lane or throwing 500 revs I watch that every time I throw the ball,
He is a good bowler and he has proved that even more so this year but I really just dont see anything entertaining about watching him on TV his style is boring
also its not really that hard to miss or not repeat when there are minimal movements in your game and you puck it down 5 which is exactly what Scroggins does

I'm sorry but I don't like the fact Scroggins can get POY. He would be 3rd high in end of the points, earnings, and championship round appearances. He is 5th in average, 14th in cashes, and 9th in matchplay appearances. To me that doesn't spell POY. It has been a GREAT year for him so far, please don't think I am taking credit from him. I just think the point system based off the telecasts has a weakness. Don't get me wrong, titles are important but for him to have 3 regular titles and no majors doesn't deserve POY status I feel. How he throws the ball doesn't have an affect on me, just not feeling that great about him possibly being named POY when I feel Walter had the better year. Again, Scroggins had a GREAT year but not a POY season in my book.
