They probably have a few cases of PBA-branded pins that they use for the telecast. A while back, late '90s, maybe early '00s, they had gold (painted) pins. They were on the heavier side of regulation but still legal for ordinary competition. The current pins are probably not much different from any other pin.
I would guess they use whatever pins the center has already for the main part of the tournament. It would be expensive to cart around dozens or hundreds of cases of pins everywhere.

They already have one semi full of bowling equipment for the pro's that are willing to pay for the space. I could see them having another truck for 64 cases of pins, they don't take up that much room.

They have a semi with space for rent. Rent is positive cash flow, whether it offsets the costs or not. Probably it's priced to at least break even. The other truck, the player services truck, is available on a for-pay basis as well. They want balls drilled or finished, they pay for it. That paying helps offset the cost of the truck, the driver, the trailer, gas, insurance, and all of the things semi trucks involve.
A truck full of pins would require not only pins (which would have to be replaced over time) but a driver, truck, trailer, gas, and all that other stuff. They'd have to charge the centers to use their pins. They already charge a lot of money just to host the tournament. Using the PBA's pins, they'd have to unload their own pins from the pinsetters, store them, put the PBA pins in, take 'em out, replace their own pins. Lots of effort for what are basically standardized pins with the PBA logo on them. Unlikely the bowlers are going to forget they're at a PBA tournament, unlikely the audience will forget. They don't need PBA pins to remind anyone.
I don't think a truck full of pins would happen.

Yeah they know. From the tournaments I've been too, they show you the exact oil diagram/layout like 15 minutes before bowling. You know what board has the oil and what doesn't and know the density and how far each board has oil.
