The "Get Your Complaints In Early" Thread.....
« on: November 27, 2007, 05:07:31 AM »
This week 80 of the best exempt bowlers in the world male and female will be bowling on the highest scoring of the tour patterns on a great surface and Brunswick Absolute Control oil which is less prone to carrydown than other oils.  Here is your chance to get your complaints in early on everything that is wrong with the pro tour and how easy/high scoring they will be this week.  Also, don't forget to discredit whoever is leading the pack at any point of the tournament.  Bonus points if you add a synopsis on who is and how much they are overrated and "one-dimensional" (PM me if you can tell me what that term means, I'm lost).

The biggest and best complainer will get one free entry in all-starbowling joe's next raffle, paid for by me.  Favortism will be given to those posters who have no experience at all in a professional/highly competitive bowling enviornment.  Let the games begin!

p.s. Bonus points if you can compare this to golf.

Some byotch like PA & his dorky hairdo or Sean bRash & his silly yellow shirt is gonna win with f-ing brooklyns & lucky carry, while guys like PDW lose in the round of 8 to these over rated A-holes.  The f-ing lefty's on tour are a bunch of righty wannabees, cryin bout this or that.  PBA just want the Barne's of the world so they can talk about his wife, Lynda, on ESPN.  They don't want a fat a-s like Malott or baldy sour like Kent.  They want the pretty boys.  So get over it already.  Oh, & one more thing, Take that, & how do you like that one. Didn't PB3 average just South of 260 a couple of years ago on this pattern in Texas?

BTW, I can beat PB3 in golf.

There.  I tried my best to meet all criteria.

I'll give this a try.

Hopefully the scores will be up this week.  After watching the telecast last week, it's no wonder bowling has a bad name.  160 winning a match?  These guys are supposed to be pros.  I averaged 230 last year and 225 this year, but these guys get paid to shoot scores that I could bowl with my off-hand.

Robert Smith should win this tournament easily.  The only thing the guy can do is grip it and rip it, which is perfect for Cheetah because we all know it is a glorified THS.  Yes he did win last week, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.

Bowling will never have credibility until it is proven that the pros can consistently post numbers higher than your average house hack.  Sure, they may be bowling on harder conditions, but Joe Bowler doesn't take that into account.  I say put the biggest wall you can out there and see if they really are better.

I feel dirty for typing that.

With these guys talents,it's like free food night at the all you can eat buffet for the Overeater's Anonymous dropouts.Friction, super strong equipment, shot repeatability---WHAT ELSE COULD THEY ASK FOR?????????????????
As to comparing this to golf, look what Tiger did to Augusta in 97 and Pebble Beach in 2000.Simply up and DESTROYED two of the harder courses in the world that were set up for major tournament competition.
And to WSUstroker, look what Tommy Jones did on a 50 foot flat patterm at the open earlier this year.I believe the games were 279-268,or somewhere close to that area.Hell I know I'd be praying to be able to get close to 200 on a pattern like that.

I quit bowling for now because I got a Black Widow so I could throw 300's like Tony Reyes with his.  However, the best I could do with the BW was only 279.  I hate bowling now and I hate Hammer and I hate Tony Reyes for giving me hope.
