Wheres Mr Boring?

Last time Norm Duke won, someone complained how boring the show was.  It wasn't boring that day.  And no, it was not boring today.  Norm won big time!  All kinds of drama and human interest.  

Norm's grandfather (Monk Mattingly (excuse the spelling), aged 97) passed away this week and was buried on Norm's 44th birthday (Thursday).  God Bless His Soul.  Norm says before the show that this isn't the U.S. Open, but the Monk Mattingly Open.  

Then Norm proceeds to back that up big time.  Wow!  That wasn't boring, that was inspirational!  Again, Wow!  What a great story!

One of the best shows I've seen in a long while.  Loved every minute of it.  Great bowling from Duke too!

I think maybe that I'm mister boring that you are refering to. Today was not boring at all it was a very difficult shot and the scores were there to be made if you made a good shot and Mr Duke did exactly that , he deserved to win. I am of the opinion that a professional should be able to score well on any pattern and that is what happened today , last time when I complained they did not perform well at all in my humble opinion. This proves exactly what I said in the last show that a pro should be able to make a good shot regardless of how difficult the shot is

Today Duke was masterful.  What an awesome performance!

He showed his true grit the way he came back against Chris Loschetter, and then coming back also against Mika.

To shoot 725 on TV on the toughest oil pattern of the season speaks volumes about Duke's bowling ability.

To top things off, after missing several events during the year with an assortment of injuries and almost not being able to make the exempt cut, he wins 2 majors and becomes the official money leader for the season, with a chance to add much to his booty when he competes in a couple of weeks on the Motel 6 Roll to Riches (this money does not count toward yearly earnings).

Great compelling performance from an all-time Great!
