Title: US Open Broadcast Blunders

I realize we dont all have the same math aptitude, but how about 1) recognizing that a player is out of wood BEFORE they through a shot rather than after [Wolfe v Scroggins] and 2) letting the viewing audience know the actual pin count needed to win [twice - once on screen where it stated someone needed a strike and 6 pins to win when it was strike & 1 pin; when Randy states someone needed 9/ and count rather than stating that fill count would depend on 1st ball count.

Also, Rob Stone stating that Scroggins almost went Brooklyn when he left a solid 4.

There must be some statistician aomewhere that can get these guys the correct info in a timely manner.

I think it would be just a touch easier to teach Randy and Stone to freakin' add.  It's not that complex.

Didnt Scroggins leave a 6 pin?  You see how easy it is to make a mistake?  But yes, yest there were a few mistakes.

of course you are correct and it is that easy. I accept that.

bottom line is as you state - but the mistakes are glaring for anyone who bowls regularly and confusing for those who dont.

My favorite was Randy's claim that 2-0-0 would not win the title match...he was right...it only took 191.

My favorite was when Randy said it was incomprehensionable, instead of incomprehensible.  Just a slip of the tongue I suppose.
