Pete was using a Paradigm (not red) and a Fired Up (red).  Shafer was using a Fired Up, switched to a Trifecta towards the end of the second match.  TJ was using an Overtime, Vortex 2, and Angelo was using a Strike Zone (he even mentioned it in his interview).

Did anyone catch Randy Pedersen's "Randyism" of the day......it was "Goofy".  He kept on using that word over and over: "The lanes are goofy"; "Things are looking goofy.

If Randy ever bowls on another telecast, I dare someone to to write on a poster board a Randyism to see if he gets annoyed.

I went to watch the finals today....I know this isn't the WWF but the people that went up against PDW were not missing in practice but couldn't hit the head pin in the match.....I know that there wasn't any set up or anything, but it sure seemed easy for PDW to get his first win after losing his dad all the bad stuff he endured the last year.  It was great to watch though.

That was a great telecast today. Great storyline too. I like how they mentioned the Duke/Shafer Round of 8 match on Friday several times as well. Good for Pete to put get this win for his Dad and his family. Probably one of the best telecasts this year with all the adjusting and the play of the "PBA Viper Pattern."

We all think it was a great show, but I bet the PBA head honchos were screaming "DAMMIT WHY DIDN'T THEY PUT THE EASY PATTERN DOWN, THESE SCORES ARE HORRIBLE!!"  Somehow I wouldn't be suprised to see a scorefest next week so they can keep their ratings up.
