I would have to say WRW is the man to beat!  If he has an outside line the other guys are in trouble!

loschetter was also playin that line on friday. i hope WRW doesnt win. i know hes the best of all time but in the last five years he seems so one dimensional. just goin up 5-10. he hooked the ball more 10years ago with weaker balls. idk. i want wes mallot to win even though hes a traitor for going to roto

Walter Ray was very nice when he bowled with my buddies and me at the US Open 2 years ago. Not sure where this reputation is coming from??

Last night, Walter Ray was pretty much "Redball 22-14 and in for many strikes".  There goes that theory.

just so u know WRW isnt 1 demensional. the man can play anywhere on the lane.
the conditions just dont MAKE him play deep inside. i cant stand him personally cuz he can be a jerk. but him norm and pete are the best of all time. THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD

Yea, Walter while being a bit "different" (as described by Jim Tomek Jr. who helped out when throwing Mo's equipment the last couple years), he's a stud on the lanes.

I still am in awe of what he did the week (I think it was in California) where he was the only righty on the show and he was playing anything but his A game---way in, really trying to saw on it. First time I found myself cheering for him. Because to shoot the scores he did and win, while the left clearly had an advantage, just showed how GREAT he is.

I find it amazing that anybody would not like him because he appears one dimensional on TV.  He's been in the top 5 in averages on all the PBA patterns, which is just a testament to how good he reall is.  I love watching him bowl because it shows how all the greats from years past would still be amoung the greats of today even with all the ball and oil changes.

I remeber that show. Thats the one he lost in the final match to Patrick Allen?

He's an amazing bowler.  Just like Norm Duke, he can play anywhere on the lanes and win.

I love watching Duke and WRW playing outside lines.  They make it look so easy!

Considering that we KNOW you know that what they do and where they play on Sunday is NOT the ONLY place they play the whole week long, why do you insist on judging him and all players by where they play on Sunday?

Does that make Duke just as one dimensional?
or Pete Weber ?

FYI I'm not saying he's good or bad, only that you know he is not one dimensional. So why say it?

FWIW I think Chris L is in the driver's seat today. He has bowled excellently the last few TV outings. He cannot be denied much longer.

i say it because at least the last year on TV we would lose a lot of the matches because he was playin that line and couldnt carry a 10 pin to save his life. he left 5 in one game (and somehow won) and didnt change anything. i have seen him play deep all tournament sometimes and as soon as he gets on TV its up 5 for some reason. i dont see how the TV pair can be that different from what they were bowling on all week that he would have to always play that part of the lane.

I hope he loses miserably, the big jerk.  I hope he shoots 140.
