did anyone see walter ray williams, jr., on the, "quite frankly show", last nite on espn2 ? this show was on at 10PM ( cdt )and is a sports talk show hosted by stephen a. smith. smith met up with walter ray at new yorks' amf chelsea pier for some one on one instruction. smith said he could average 200 but was willing to accept some pointers from the best. smith averaged about 125 and admitted he wasn't as good as he thought. i had hoped this would be an opportunity for a nationally recognized show to explain to the masses that professional bowling and professional bowlers are real athletic competition and athletes but it wasn't. it was good to see that pro bowling is getting some notice though.

Does anyone know if it will be replayed?  I didn't see the article on the website until this morning.

Greg,

I, an optimist along with you, certainly hope that anyone who saw that piece will gain an appreciation for the sport we love.

However, realistically, most of us who dually view sports but don't buy into the whole political correctness thing, see Stephen A. for the uninformed opinionated dolt he is.

I would liken it to seeing the same piece done with that idiot Jim Rome.

Did they put out a sport shot to try to embarrass the interviewer and show how "tough" bowling is??...

It may be awhile before you will see it again....or another interview again...
good strategy...embarrass the interviewer..

it looked like a typical house shot but the host was using a plastic ball and a back-up ball release----walter ray even told him he was throwing the ball like a woman !!!!!

or was it the ulitmate set up for a hustle?

I'm not bowling a guy who shot 120 on TV. sounds too easy.

he works for espn2. I'm sure he needs the extra cash
