Maybe i am the only one cheering for him, but thats because he hasnt been on TV in a while and i want to see him break the record. . .

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

It seems as if the only time that I see WRW, Jr. on TV anymore is on ESPN Classic !!!
(and then I have to see all of those shots of Paige back then too !!!   )

Anyway, I'd like to see him at least tie the record; mixed feelings about him beating it cuz I LOVED Earl's game !!!

It's funny how WRW having 41 titles makes Earl's 41 seem so paltry.  Almost worthless.  Like, why bother?

Seriously, why should Earl's record stand indefinitely?  Should the record title holder have to occur in the first 20 or 30 years of the PBA?  If, 20 years from now, TJ has 60 titles, does that make Earl less of a bowler?  Should that record stand forever?  Or is it a nostalgia thing, because everytime someone posts something like that, it makes me think hear "Now that was real bowling, back then.  Not like today."

I would like to see him or Robert Smith win.

Even if Walter Ray breaks Earl Anthoney's record I don't see him as a better bowler than the great EA.  Earl was just flat out awesome.  His accuracy and smooth stroke is second to none.

This is not taking anything away from Walter Ray.  WRW is probably the best bowler on tour right now even though he has had a rough season.

I don't care what anyone says bowling today is difficult on tough lane patterns.  Of course if everyone including the pro's played on great walls(house shots) then bowling would be a joke.  However the pro's don't play on house shots.
