Wayne Webb sightings?
« on: July 28, 2015, 11:20:49 AM »

If my memory serves me correct, I've not seen Wayne Webb entering or competing in any PBA50 events so far in 2015. Anyone knows what's been going on with him?

Ball speed avg. (18.25 mph)
Rev rate avg. (400-428 rpm)
Still refusing to accept AARP eligibility and membership cards

now that you've mentioned it, yeah what is he doing besides running a bowling center. not sure about the bowling center ownership, so correct me if I am wrong.

When he left, I heard his lane guy followed him east. Cool guy, we had fun times bowling league with him and I ran a small side $$$, but not all the guys wanted to join in... I remember I gave him his $6 dollars winnings lol
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

Also MIA are Kenny Parks, Ricky Beck, Gary Hiday, and Mark Williams (although I believe Mark still bowls PBA50 events near his home state of Texas). Now that I'm thinking about it,  I haven't seen Bob Handley or Steve Neff either.
I know Ernie Schlegel, Dave Soutar , and Brian Brazeau have officially retired from the PBA50 tour.
Anyone know what these gentlemen are up to these days?

Enjoying their retirement!  ;D

Seriously, it's rather understandable, as when you think about it (and to be honest, we rather didn't want to think about it; father time and mother nature), the competition in the Seniors was going to pick up when PDW, WRW, Duke, Voss, and others started to show up on the scene. Whether they could keep doing it and go on at their age or ride off into the sunset with a great career definitely would weigh on their minds.. they could have chose the latter and had no regrets.

I was told by some friends that Kenny got married and moved to North Carolina but I have not been able to confirm it.
