Yep, doing it again this week.

What's in the bag:

Semifinals
Tony Reyes-  Triumph TNT
Mika Koivuniemi-  Zone Classic
Jim Pratt-  Dynothane eagle plastic ball
Danny Wiseman-  Ravage

Finals
Pratt-  American Eagle ball
Koivuniemi-  Zone Classic

Match Scores:

Match 1:  Both players did not have a great reaction, and Reyes opened multiple times.  Mika won, 194-154.
Match 2:  Pratt the no-thumber beats Wiseman, 211-207.  Plastic power!
Final:  Mika Koivuniemi defeats Pratt, 267-226.

Skills Challenge:
Chris Barnes beats Brian Kretzer 3 strikes to none.

Mika wins!  Looks like Pratt will have to find a new job unless he wins one of the remaining weeks.  Stupid exempt tour.

I would have to agree with that.  A few other terms could use but not able to post on here.

I have to say Mr. Pratt is very smooth when it comes to setting down the ball without the thumb.  I did see the clip of Mike Miller from way back when and that may be the smoothest no-thumb release I've ever seen.

I think Pratt would have easly won if he was using a TARGET ZONE instead of that damn Dyno-Thane Eagle ball! You know with the PBA using Brunswick oil and all you would figure the TARGET ZONE to read the pattern better.

I noticed on one shot his ball did have a thumb hole. Wonder why he drilled it if he doesnt use it?

I do the same. If you drill the ball without a thumb, you are very limited in what you can do with a ball. Yes I know he was throwing plastic but it holds true with everything. And because he (apparently) throws with his thumb at 10 pins, most NOTHUMBers just have to stick their thumbs in the ball to make it a spare ball.

Im glad a NOTHUMBer made his presence known on the tour---even if it was just for 1 week. As I said in another post---it is possible, just not probable.

lol I found that kind of funny. He bowled good I'll give that to him. Though, they both bowled very well. Mika had a couple lucky breaks, thats the way the cookie crumbles. I guess Pratt can prove himself by trying next week, eh?

I think that would be my main problem on the tour, my mouth.
