he had an injury at one time don;t remember if that was this season though

Unless it's a new injury, what you're thinking about happened around the middle of last season.  

I've noticed a lot of the top tier guys tend to have periods where they are really strong and others where they are just below radar.  It's pretty rare that a player is on top for the entire season.
