I think as a PBA member (regional, senior, national) you can buy equipment at the price they charge the guys on the truck, which is a little over cost.  It used to be a BIG discount, but too many guys were buying stuff in bulk, then reselling to guys in their leagues at a profit that the PBA raised the prices a bit.

Oh ok, I thought a PBA member told me at some point that some ball companies offer you discounts on their equipment if you are a PBA member.

I don't agree with this.  There are 3 people that bowl in my home house that have cards.  I don't and I'm better than all 3.  In fact, one and possibly two of the three aren't even in the top ten in the house.

when my female teammate was touring she was told by ebonite she couldnt sell her balls, for the above reason i presume.

as a PBA Member you get a monthly newsletter with Manufacture discounts. they were get TA and WMB for something like $120 shipped to there homes.
