Has anyone else seen the February issue of Bowlers Journal? On page 95 they give the tv ratings for some of the PBA shows. The Earl Anthony Medford Classic was the highest at a .90. That's pathetic, now it can be seen why ESPN was such a hard line on having someone else pay for the broadcasts. This past Sunday I know the NBA got a 1.6 rating and Tiger and Phil at Doral received a unbelievable 5.8. I like watching bowling as I know several people in here do to, but I guess we are the only ones watching. By these ratings the PBA is about as popular as Zimbabwean Sled Dog Racing!! The PBA is going to have to do something to attract attention to itself or it's never going to get better. And as far as the PWBA they are going to have to go a long way to get ratings, maybe short skirts and go-go boots. It doesn't look good if your a bowling fan.

I'm frankly not in to the shows!

I can only watch them taped so I can fast forward thru the commercials, most of the skills challenge(way too cute), and the interviews.... Like watching paint dry!

I love bowling.

I also hate what I now know about lane management.  Sucky!

Too few matches!  Like the old stepladder!

PS now an interview with that pitchers wife in Phoenix...that would be interesting.  Or an interview with Pete Weber's wife.  Interesting!!!!
Or how about an interview with with Leslie Gudal!
