How come isnt on tour bowling anymore? Anybody know?

He's not one of the 64 exempt players. He's had a couple of sponsor's exemptions for various tournaments and made it through the PTQ's a couple of times. However, as of right now, he's on the outside looking in.

Didn't earn his exemption three years ago when they made the switch to the all-exempt field, had two serious chances to get it back when he made the '03 and '05 ToC telecasts, but didn't win. He bowled Tour Trials the first two years but didn't this year. I think he's tired of the stress of clawing his way back and especially his two ToC appearances that gave him a lot of hope only to lose out (which Dud Ryan loves to bring up).

He said at the end of last year that he wasn't bowling the Tour Trials and he was going to retire from bowling full time. He's got a job with Storm now beyond his previous ball staff position.

the thing he's stopped from doing is bowling the pre tournament qualifier every week like last year. he did bowl the qualifying round a couple weeks ago or something but averaged barely 200 if i remember right.
