When will Walter Ray...
« on: March 23, 2008, 10:00:14 AM »
stop using that N'sane LevRG?? I really don't think it's working good for him. It gets into its' roll too late, and causing all his weak pins he leaves (many ten pins!!). There's got to be some other MoRich ball that would work well for him. I just don't think that N'sane is cutting it anymore.. Obviously, he thinks otherwise. I am no Walter Ray, but it really doesn't seem like that ball is getting the job done. Any other comments on this? I am by no means bashing the man. I just want to see some other opinions, too

Again, since they got him to the show, for 30+ games, finishing 4th ain't too shabby. It's only in the show, with its strange conditions, that they seem to be NOT the right ball for him.

WHile I agree it was my first thought around the 3rd frame of watching him bowl, how can you fault his choice, since they got him to the show so many recent times?

I thought a polished Awe Finish or the new Solid LevRG might have been a better choice, BUT only after watching him. We can only be Monday morning, 20/20 hindsight quarterbacks. He was there. Ya' have let the champ go with what got him there.

Even Walter Ray has said before that he doesn't like to change balls very much, just adjust and use the same one.

I think he had two of them drilled differently and bowled almost a whole game before he decided which one to use.  Got him by the first game, but not the second one.

Just a though but did everybody see his fill ball in the 10th?  Don't know which ball he used but WRW had a much better reaction.  Think that was his down fall in carry in that he does not like to go away from the pocket normally and that hurt him today on this pattern.  JMO....for FWIW.

"red ball up five"

The tour players have a calling card for him AND the ball.

WRW has made a LOT of money doing exactly what he's doing this season.  Second in POTY points and tied with Barnes for top finishes.

My guess, he's gonna throw the N'Sane LevRG until Mo comes up with something he likes throwing better.

Couldn't tell for 100% sure, but it looked like the solid leverage.

I was thinking he might ask when WRW would quit whining about his carry on tv..

Does WRW use anyother bowling balls aside from the ensane levrg?  I don't know what he throws during the week but it sounds like thats the only ball he uses now?

At practice today, Walter was throwing two different N'Sanes and two different Solid LevRGs.
