He's leading A squad after 6 games. According to his stats, his date of birth is december 1991. He's 16???????????

A young man from Florida who has got a great game. I've competed against him several times at teen masters and he makes sport shots look like house shots. Kid has a ton of potential.

Game reminds me of a combination of PDW and Brian Himmler.

Yea with the new rule change USBC youth bowlers can now bowl with the adults...i know a few other youths that are bowling...

Speaking off of what Bar5003 said, there are a good number of youths bowling in this tournament.  There are three from the local area here in PA that are bowling.  Shane Tetterton, Travis Celmer, and Bryan Reinsel.

He is unreal. His physical game is just nuts. With the amout of power and turn that he has for the kind of body he has. I think of him as a smaller version of robert smith. I have bowled against him a few times and he just gives me a show each time. Keep it going Koff.

I saw him the first time at junior Christmas tournament in Puerto Rico when he was 9!.  Threw it so well and had everyone watching him.  He won going away.  I watched him the entire time.  Had a great attitute then.  I saw him again 2 years later and he was still whacking them.  He was averaging about 225 and was dominating the field.  

I told my wife then that if he stuck with bowling we would see a lot of him

Hes pretty well known in the youth circuit, of course having money doesnt hurt.

He is well known in the Souteast and farther.

One of my best friends is also in the top 10.
He just gets better and better with age!

I totally second everything said so far. I bowl in Florida and he is a beast.
I've been told that he is the highest average in Miami-Dade county. He does have some money, but you can't deny that the kid is good.

Keep in mind that they are on sport conditions. If I remember correctly he was 22 at Junior Gold last year.

Ive bowled with koff a lot over the years and this kid is the real deal. Amazing talent and don't think his showing so far I'd really a surprise to anyone to anyone down here.

Oh and look at teammate mr. Dixon is sitting in the top 10.

I've been watching him bowl for many years, and his physical game is as impressive as I've ever seen.
I can't wait to see him in about 3 years. I think he could very well be the face of bowling in the near future.

I've bowled with and around Koff since he was 10.. and let me tell you, he is the real freakin deal. People may come on and say he spent all the time with the Kegel coaches and that's why he is as good as he is, but the work ethic this kid has is unbelievable. He comes from good parents that make it mandatory to maintain his grades in school to even just bowl league. I'm sure for him to bowl an event like the Open, he had to do some spectacular work.

I watched Andrew struggle for one game at tournament I was in FL observing.. During that time he struggled he went and stood behind one of the guys who had a real good look on the lane..Watched him for 2 shots and when he started the next game.. He was basically throwing the ball to the same breakpoint with the same speed and rotation.. It was really amazing to see him copy someone like that. Heard he did the same thing with Kip Roberts at one of the regionals he bowled in.


Watch out for his sister in the future too, Ana is just as competitive. With you all the luck in the world AK...

Bowl with him down here on a monthly basis in youth tournaments. It's my last year in youth, and it's frustrating enough to have kids like him beat me, I can only imagine what the PROS feel like right now, ha.


Kid is a BEAST, can play anywhere on the lane, amazing talent.  I mean, Who goes 260 250 on the FRESH at the open? Amazing.

ya that guy is a beast , i saw him bowled at T of A 2007 in florida and well......he kicked my ass, he completely dominated that tournament, i think he won by 200 pins!! well lets see if he can be successful during  the 3 days, i hope so!

OK all my fellow Floridians.  How many of you are going to the Gathering?  And where were you for the Florida mini-gathering last year in Seminole?  I didn't realize there were so many of us.

 I've seen this kid play too. He's quite impressive.
