Chameleon Championship TV Balls
« on: November 16, 2008, 05:56:29 AM »
If anyone cares:

Lots of ball changes and such so I may be off here.

Rash: I think the first ball was a Twisted Fury Destruction but may have been the Maxx Zone he used later. Rampage I believe in the 2nd frame. Maxx Zone the rest of the game.

Machuga: Started with a Storm Hy Road, then ball change to the Virtual Gravity. Later back to a Hy Road to finish. Also fill shots with another Hy Road and Dimension

Kretzer: Roto Grip Grand Illusion. Globe for spares. One shot with an Epic Saga

Malott: Roto Grip Cell Pearl. Grand Illusion for spares

O'Neill: Storm Rapid Fire Solid

Woessner: Virtual Gravity

Feldman: Ebonite Complete NV. Gamebreaker for spares.

He used 2 different Virtual Gravity's. The fill ball one from the first match was a Pin between the fingers and in match 2 he used a pin under fingers.

Oneill with the Storm Equipment confused me, since he was throwing a pin slasher last week wasn't he?

What was the name of this title again.

"The Hang spot open?"  "Or was it the righties 2-8 open?"

Very exciting....10 games and one over 220!

I realize how difficult the shot was!

I liked Kretzers look the best except for his slide problems!

Why would it confuse you?
Isn't he allowed to use more than one brand of ball?
After all, he is not under contract with any one company.

I can see why he's confused.  Using Storm probably cost him the match...not.  He made the same speed mistake he made last week against WRW.  It's readily apparent that The Real Deal could probably toss an AMF Gold Angle and make the show.  Besides, why question a guy's company of choice when he's made two shows in one week with Storm?  After all, he did make the Ultimate Scoring Championship using Storm, did he not?

1 question...Two thoughts on the show...

Question:

With the steep pile of oil in the midlanes(strips) DID anyone think particles would have really worked nicely on this show??

Thoughts...

1. As to the show....soft speed at the break point was a must....the number one mistake seemed to be to amp it up just a tinch in speed....all of sudden no break....or a very slight miss wide...(strips?).

2.  Machuga seems to have 2 positions....cupped and broken back....versus Norm who seems to have an inbetween.  Not far from Norm in the different rolls he put on the ball....but a tinch to go....(still a lot of feel for the lane compared to most/many).

What puddle of oil? Anytime someone got it in a board or two, it was immediately through the face.

Not meant to be a super bash here just something I thought was funny...

Michelle Feldman used a gamebreaker for spares, and missing 10 pins.

Too bad Ronnie Lott wasn't there to administer his own brand of first aid.

Machuga has in between.

There was a puddle but it wasn't left to right, it was front to back, in the mids, causing the severe breakpoint there was.
