World Championship telecast
« on: March 24, 2006, 11:31:13 AM »
Walter Ray against Ryan Shafer, and Brad Angelo against Pete Weber. Awesome show in my opinion! Maybe just cause PWD is my favorite and hes in it, but go P-Dubb!!!

Going to be a great show...

We have this for every show....so whose your pick to win it?

judging by many of the posts on this website i thought chris barnes and/or norm duke were the "kingpins" of choking under pressure........

HXC,

Unfortunately, people here think that a 230 game can be considered as choking under pressure. Someone mentions that Norm is a "kingpin" of choking, yet the matches he lost on TV this year, he rarely missed the pocket.  NOW....someone like Loschetter, who threw the ball absolutely great last week, shooting a 150 with a couple good breaks away from shooting 130, that is IMO choking simply because he seemed like he was lost and did not seem to do much about it.

Does this mean that Amleto Monicelli was the premier choker on tour in the mid to late 90s because he could not carry the solid 8 pin when he needed a shot to win a tournament?  Asinine, people.  Thats also like saying that Walter Ray choked last week when he was still in the match and left the 4 pin on the 2nd ball in the 10th frame against Norm.  Don't be stupid.

I wanna see WRW vs PDW in the final. As id like to see WRW get the 41st title, id also enjoy seeing PDW kicking WRW's rear vocally and on the lanes. GOOOO PEEEE DEEEEE DUBYA!!!

That's one example from how many shows he's made?

I'm not a huge fan of PDW, but I can't recall the last time he wasn't fired up on TV. Maybe that's why he likes that ball so much.

WRW acted like a big baby when he lost to Chris Colins in the final match a few weeks ago. He was just sitting there watching Collins enjoying the moment with his family.. WRW was just staring at him, I found that very weird..

I hope PDW takes it home.. He does need to ad some smack talking to the telecast and make it more fun to watch..

WRW vs. Angelo- Angelo will prevail. I'm normally wrong, so who knows.

It was weird watching WRW just sit there, and stare, in disbelief I guess.
