9 games in the cashers round
259 262 259 265 214 244 149 128 173=1953
Starts off with 1045... finishes with 450
Ouch... looks like he had some tough transition problems.

Also may have been due to either pain or fatigue - he's no "spring chicken". WRW, PDW, and any other "graybeards" who failed to make the top 8 are probaby less likely to go all the way now. At that age, it's a big disadvantage to have to bowl an extra round. It adds up - especially as you age.

WRW and PDW were in the top 8 after game 26, then the people behind them scored higher than they did to knock them out of the top 8

If you are not using Storm, go kick yourself hard!!!

Age has nothing to do with it. He's a professional power player. That is typical of a lot of crankers bowling scores like that.

A power player is more susceptible to the effects of aging than a tweener or stroker.
When you add his small size to the mix, and the overall wear and tear as the season winds down, it becomes even more difficult as you age.
There's only a few reasons you would see a totall falloff/collapse after a hot start like he had for that round:
1) Injury
2) Fatigue
3) Lost motiviation if player knows will NOT make the cash/cut line.
