Here is your round of 16.
Rick Lawrence (2) vs. Walter Ray Williams (40; 6 POYs; HOF)
Chris Johnson (0) vs. Mike Koivuniemi (6; 1 POY)
Tom Daugherty (0) vs. Patrick Allen (5; 1 POY)
Jason Couch (12) vs. Tommy Jones (6)
Pete Weber (32; HOF) vs. Paul Fleming (0)
Mike Scroggins (3) vs. Amleto Monachelli (19; 2 POYs; HOF)
Tom Baker (10; HOF) vs. Parker Bohn, III (30; 2 POYs; HOF)
Patrick Healey, Jr. (3) vs. Brian Voss (23; 1 POY; HOF)
That's 191 titles, 13 Player of the Year Awards and 6 Current Hall of Famers and maybe four more future Hall members. WOW.

Proud owner of a 140 first game average this year! Don't bowl me the second two games though! (two warm up balls in league..thanks proprietors)
-
And 4 out of 5 of my fantasy team.

The only team member I had not make it to the round of 16 was Norm Duke. sigh. He's held the team up for a lot of weeks!
Go, C_J!!!

No offense, but the Rick Lawrence vs WRW match will be as exciting as watching paint dry. Couch vs Jones, wow, whatever pair they are on will need new pins following the match. As someone mentioned in a prior post there sure are a lot of bland bowlers left as far as personality is concerned.

Cynicism, Realism, or Optimism? Which do you live by?

60 boards? I thought there were 39 boards on a lane. Anyway, Lawrence's dump and run game isnt fun to watch IMO and WRW looks like he is throwing his entire back out when he bowls. Not exactly fluid.

Wow, great round of 16, here is who I want to see advance...
Amleto Monacelli (Admired him growing up in the 80's)
Paul Fleming (Love his free flowing style)
Tom Daugherty (Want to see the PTQ rookie advance)
C_J Chris Johnson (Ballreviews supporter/poster with great form!)
Let's go guys!

I agree with northface, watching those 2 bowl will put you to sleep. I hurts watching WRW bowl I think hes going throw is left shoulder every ball.
You don't have to be a power player to be fun to watch, Parker, Peter, Voss Healey, Fleming all fun to watch bowl.

RIP Jimmy Keith, you won't be forgotten
Well, that unexciting match just went down the the tenth frame of the seventh game and WRW had to double to close out Lawrence. He did. Similarly in game 5, Lawrence had to double in the 10th to beat Williams, and he did. Game 2 was similarly close.
So, here is the round of eight.
Walter Ray Williams vs. Mika Koivuniemi.
Tommy Jones vs. Patrick Allen.
Pete Weber vs. Mike Scroggins.
Brian Voss vs. Tom Baker.
4 Hall of Famers, the reigning player of the year (2004-2005), the probable player of the year for this year (2005-2006), the player of the year for 2003-2004 and the player of the year for 2002-2003. All multiple titleists.

It figures, I drop Weber because I didn't think his chances of making back to back shows was very good and here he is on the verge. I hope Walter Ray beats Mika and I hope PA takes out TJ.

I'm going for WRW, Weber, and Voss. TJ or PA, I don't care. If we could get Baker on there instead of those two, that'd be fine with me.

I dropped Walter Ray from my team too. Go figure.
-
I hope Monacelli makes the show and wins his 20th, i'd have to say he's my favorite bowler
