Barnes

Funny how Barnes is successful on TV and there are no positive posts about him ....

He pured just about every shot during his televised matches.   Awesome bowling ....

I just got done watching it on DVR, I was actually in Vegas for the weekend but missed the live telecasts fri-sunday even though I was staying at the South Point.

Yeah, he performed really well and congratulations to him.  He seemed to be very relaxed and smiling alot.  Not the usually "Stoic" look he usually has.

This is one tournament where the best bowler in the field won..

Barnes had a gameplan, executed it to perfection and outclassed the field..

Congrats Chris on another major!!

Chris performed well this weekend.  I think he benefited from being the number 4 seed which gave him an advantage as the lanes broke down.  Bill O'neill was the only one to even have a chance at him.  Good to see Chris step up in the 10th and throw and excellent shot!

There is no thread congratulating Barnes because people thrive on negativity. The same reason this topic will get less than 1/4th of the posts that the thread ripping on Sean Rash will get. Everyone loves to put down people who are better than they could hope to be.

Just finished watching replay on ESPN3.com. Barnes look was sick. Had moved right in yesterdays matches compared to the Saturday match against Haugen. If you recall O'Neil on this pattern, you will see Barnes played the lanes similar while O'Neil was a tad left of him. Great performance and congrats on the achieving the Triple Crown.

I think this is a great start for Barnes this year since it's been a struggle for him the last two seasons. I was bowling in a tournament on Sunday so I was able to watch some parts of the last match. BTW, does anyone know about some comments that O'Neill made to Barnes after the match that kind of got O'Neill ticked off? Heard some people talk about it but I didn't see it because I was bowling.

Bill essentially said Barnes is out of his rut now, but too bad it had to be against him. Barnes replied that he still isn't there yet, because Bill's still the "best bowler in the world". Bill told Barnes to shove it, jokingly.
