Chris barnes was my pick before the season started but it's not to pick WRW right now, especially now that he's with 900G.

Just another hack with too much equipment.

I would like to see Fagan put up another win or two before the year is over
I have no interest in seeing WRW win again
Chris is up there also but he just simply has to win on TV
a little dissapointed to see the performances of Mallott and PA this year
they are 2 of my favorite guys out on tour
-
Chris Barnes or Bill O'Neill would be my choices to win this award.

Actually Wes hasn't really had that bad of a year. He has made 2 shows this year, including a major. I believe he is also top 5 in points. If he makes a couple more shows and is able to get a win, he's a legit POY candidate.
PA is just struggling with injuries this year.

i still like belmo, hes been performing pretty consistently week in and week out, but well... will have to win more to get to that point
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment
When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.
-
If the season ended today, I'd have to vote for WRW....for him to perform at such a high level at the age of 50 is amazing. It's still wide open and there's 7 tournaments left, the title is there for the taking.
-
If Tom Smallwood Wins this weekend doesnt his name have to get thrown in there too?

I think the archaic wonder WRW is gonna win POY again. He is simply the destroyer of pins.

WRW would be my choice. He has been throwing the ball well and if he is not shut out with the type of conditions that they are bowling on he will make at least a couple more shows.

Walter Ray is the clear front runner.
-
I think it will be Walter Ray or Bill O'neil, Right now I'm gonna have to say O'neil, and no its not just because he won the U.S. open...although that is a plus.
-
I'd have to say Bill O'Neill is the POY winner if the season ended last week....

That's actually kind of vacuous. You would have to say that because O'Neill would be the POY by the rules of the POY competition.
My vote is for Bowler X. He's having a great year, and if he wins all the rest of the tournaments for the rest of the year, he'll win.

I think O'Neill is going to win it this year.
-
It's difficult not to pick O'Neill right now, he's made a lot of shows and won 2 tournaments one being a major. WRW has been consistant and he's right on O'Neill's tail.
If I were to pick someone outside of the current top 5, I might take "The Natural" Ryan Ciminelli. Every time he's on a show with Urethane, I am impressed. He just needs to get that Urethane ball to kick out the 7 pin.
-
Bill O'Neill
-
Walter Ray Williams Jr.
A) He is 50 and has dominated bowlers 15-20 years younger
B) He has performed on TV all year long
C) He is leading the scoring average over the 2nd place bowler by over 2 pins a game
-
Mustare all the way!!! LOL
I cant even spell the punks name

Best thing the PBA did a couple of years ago is not count PBA member's opinions much less anyone else and went with a point system to draw out any controversy. This way, it is actually possible for a player to only win 1 title or even none and still get the chance to win the POY. Why is that? Because consistency is what should win the award not who what one title or how many.
-
Could there be a 'POY party' at Scroggy's?

That would be one helluva party.
I'd love to see it happen.
But then again, if hi wins POY , he might no longer be the Rodney Dangerfield of the PBA.

Hate is a pretty strong word for someone you dont even know, you might want to rephrase that statement. Maybe dislike would be more appropriate.
-
Between O'neill and Scroggins. Too close to call right now.
