I thought it looked "low budget".You can tell this is a half-hearted effort by the USBC to bring the ladies back.I think they deserve better. On the positive side all of the matches were close and it's great to see the ladies compete again. And am I the only one who would rather hear Jan Schmidt do the announcing with Marshall instead of Bo????

I missed the first 20 minutes, but I liked it.  I don't mind the two-matches-at-once thing, but I hope the PBA doesn't decide it's a good idea.  Apart from the old Dick Webers where it was three games of round-robin on TV, I like one at a time.

I would have liked to not have been able to hear the announcer at the NBS, it would have been more professional had we just been able to hear Bo and Marshall.  I like the old shows with those two, I wouldn't mind getting them back in the booth.

Agree with you Shelly, the PA announcer was kinda cheesey.Don't get wrong I love Bo Burton, but not as an anouncer.Bo just seems a bit "out of touch" as a broadcaster.Maybe he could switch chairs with Marshall????

My take:

I did not like the two matches at once at all.  Also, whatever X-TREME announcer on the speakers was kind of cheesy and monster-sounding.  FLUSH!!!

Otherwise, I thought it was pretty cool.  The two match at once thing made it harder to get into the match for me.

In terms of Marshall and Bo, I enjoyed that just fine.

Likewise.  Trying to watch two matches at once loses the feel and dynamic because it's harder to follow the ebb and flow of each match.  If someone starts stringing right after someone else leaves a split, you don't really realize until you look at the scoreboard!
