Well, I didn't do as well as I'd hoped.
Started out Saturday - struggled the first game with splits for 160something, pulled out 2 solid 190's, a 256 to pull me to plus territory. Each 190 had a single pin miss in it.
I had another 190, then finished with a 160, to put me -36 on the day. :-(
Started out great yesterday - +99 for the first 3, which put me at *63 for the tournament. I figure if I can do that for the next 3, I'll at least get a check (and last cash was $500). We move to 5-6. Hit flush ion 5 EVERY shot. lane 6 - leave a bucket. Move right. Leave a washout. Move right. Leave a 4-9. Whatcha gonna do?? No matter what I did, lane 6 outfoxed me. A rip roaring 144 game. I couldn't believe it! Then a solid 190- back to -3.
Last game, 247 - finish the tournament at +44. Missed a check by 51 pins.
But at least I finished over.
Now on to Goleta, CA.
