The Professional Women’s Bowling Association is postponing its August 8 deadline to determine the status for the 2003 fall schedule until Monday, August 11 at 1p.m. (EST). Tour President, John Falzone made the decision today to allow a potential investor more time to review tour assets, its history and fan demographics.
The Professional Women’s Bowling Association, founded in 1981 as the Ladies Professional Bowlers Tour, provides a professional tournament program for the most skilled women bowlers in the world. Now the rumors are flying fast and furious. When I called home office at 2:30 their time, they said that an announcement would be made in an hour or two -they were still working "on a few things".
