Well, ladies and gints, it's been over six weeks since the announcement of the sale of the PWBA to Pinacle Events, and right now, the silence coming out of Syosset, NY is pretty deafening.
The old "due diligence" was supposed to take 30-60 days. Well, 43 of those days are now behind us.
Anyone heard any rumors?

It's not final yet.
Mr. Sanders met with some of the players in Little Rock a couple of weeks ago. I just heard the general idea about what he spoke about - sounds GREAT to me. I guess some of the players weren't real excited, though.
It's not final - I think he's got till sometime in December to finalize the deal - but he said he'd probably make up his mind sometime next month. Keep your fingers and toes crossed!

Mumzie: I know this probably has been suggested but if the PWBA doesn’t get the funding can’t the ladies go to the PBA? Since the ladies average close to the men it might be interesting to watch a “mixed†telecast.

My wrist brace is just like my RADAR detector, I really don't need it but it sure makes me feel better when I have it on.

Berreez, it can't happen unless the PBA changed their rules.
My big concern out of Little Rock is that it looks like we may be moving to the best of three match play instead of the traditional format...

Oh, well, Michelle - I guess all good things must come to an end.

there is a tournament in two weeks in Vegas - Nov 9-14 - it'll be the Legends, along with ladies. Not PWBA, not PBA. Another organization. They are two separate tournaments, same time, same center. There ought to be some interesting discussions down there.
I'll let you all know what I hear...
