Volume: Multiple

Pattern Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): House

COMMENTS

Likes: This ball was phenomenal. I am a lower rev, high speed player, but on this pattern, I could use my speed, and with a Motion Hole on the top of the ball. I was able to play right on a house pattern, and use my speed to my advantage. It allowed to be able to get the ball back from the right, and still be able to miss inside and kick the 10 Pin out late.

LANE CONDITION

Length:  40'

Volume: high volume

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS

Likes: Hook, hook and more HOOK. This is what you will get from the Guru Master. When I first read that this ball would hook more than the first 2, I said lets wait and see. After throwing it now over 30 games, are you kiddin' me??? This ball has incredible hook, but the drive at the end of the pattern is amazing!!

I drilled mine with a longer pin-to-pap than the first 2, drilled it 50x5x40. As long as you have a bit of head oil, you can keep chasing the shot left for a righthander.

Compared to the Mighty, I get about 4-5 more boards with the Master. Almost the same compared to the Primo.

This ball is a must for all of you (strokers, tweeners and crankers) looking for hook, control, and strikes. Ohh, don't forget as usual, Radical provides the best and most durable covers on the market today!!!

Dislikes: Still looking for one.

Radical Guru Master Review
By: Scott DeMarsico

Drilling 60x4.75x65 balance hole down on Val.

I drilled this new Guru just like my original Guru and the Mighty. I wanted to see the difference in coverstock. Out of box, this ball was as strong as advertised. It didn't take me long to know I'd only be using it when I needed help on longer patterns on a true flood. I was easily 10 deeper with my feet and 5 boards deeper with my eyes than the original guru. The first night with it, I was able to use this ball on our 43ft house pattern for a game before having to put it away. I really liked the predictable motion it had and wanted to keep using it so I put it in the Haus for a minute with 4000 grit Siaair pads. I really liked this surface change, the added length was great and it still had a predictable me be to the pocket that I've come to log about the Guru line. Our house plays really tight on the lower end and having a ball as strong as it is, I felt I would be able to keep it in my hands longer. The first night if our scratch league, on the tighter end if the house, I was able to put up an 802 with it. I chased the shot all night but this ball didn't layoff as I started to open my angles. This ball is a great addition to the Guru line and is going to be your go to ball for the heavy oil patterns.

Hook in a box!!Been bowling 20+ years and I have never had a ball move like this !!If you roll heavy sport shots this is the ball for you.On a THS you will need to play deep.
