After being Mighty and recently a Master, we are now SUPREME! The Guru Supreme is the new Sheriff in town! That ball is a stronger version of the Master with a lot more backend! The Supreme is not far from the Mighty, when we talk about backend. The choice between the Supreme and the Master depends how you throw the ball. The Master is better suit for bowlers who are low-to-medium track. On the other side, the bowlers who are medium-to-high tracker will prefer the Supreme. For me, the latter is my case.

I change my vision for the Supreme, I wanna try something new. I saw on a video, a Supreme with a MOtion Hole. One of our teammate on staff and a friend of mine try that before me and I was really impressed by the reaction. So, I drilled mine 75x4.25x35 with the possibility of a MOtion Hole. I didn’t do it now because it is way too strong for the condition I play on here. Maybe later I’ll do it but for now I don’t need it. It is now the strongest ball in my bag and I look forward to use it in the upcoming tournament. I really love the continuation through the pins and the energy it keeps to carry the pins. Seriously, with the Master, I never see two balls carry the pins like that. The first words that was coming out of my mouth was……WOW That’s Radical.

The new Guru Supreme is available since October 27th in your local Pro Shop. Like I said, that ball is RADICAL!

Guru Supreme

Specs: Left handed, 15mph, ~400 rev rate.
I took a different approach with the Guru Supreme, drilling 45*x6x40*, which places the pin just above my middle finger.  Being left handed, this drilling has given me more opportunity to open the lane with the Guru Supreme!  The down side is that I don't get the chance to play 4th/5th arrow often, but when I do need to, this ball has been a stud!  I have the cover at 3000 wet sand so I can see the ball push through the fronts, begin reading in the mids and through the pins very easy.  The great part (in my opinion) about the Guru line, is the core.  When matched up correctly, this core just knows how to carry the energy through the pins and knock them all over.  This allows me to be in a similar part of the lane as my Mighty, but the difference in drilling gives a different shape down lane.

I welcome anyone who has questions about the Supreme, or any other ball released by Radical Bowling Technologies, please shoot me an email and I will be happy to help in your decision making for your next purchase.  ChrisHeringer@Gmail.com

Radical Guru Supreme

Bowler’s Stats:
Speed: 18.5-19 mph
Rev Rate: 425-450 rpm
Axis Rotation: 30-60 degrees
Axis Tilt: 5-7 degrees
Ball Layout: 45* by 4.5” by 50*

I thought the Guru Master was a lot of ball, this is more.
I’ve only been able to throw this ball a few frames simply because I haven’t had a need for it yet in my area for leagues or in tournament travel.  When I have tested it alongside my Nirvana and Guru Master on both house shots and the 41’ Beaten Path in league warm-up, the Guru Supreme is an easy 2-1 move inside from the Master and about the same for the Nirvana. While the Supreme has a more angular shape than the Master (where I view the extra boards coming from) the Supreme and the Nirvana have a surprisingly similar shape for me with just the Supreme having a little more horsepower in the midlane. I can’t imagine it being possible to make a ball that’s much stronger than this but I’m sure in a year or more I’ll be amazed again.  I have nothing else to say; this ball just flat out hooks.
If you’re bowling on absolutely flooded conditions, longer patterns, or have insanely high ball speed and low rev rate, this ball will provide the most hook on the market. The fact that the Supreme outhooks the Master (the highest rated ball in overall hook ever) is just insane.  If you’re looking to replace or add a ball into the very top of your arsenal to combat the long length and high volume patterns, the Guru Supreme has no equal.

Here is the new addition to the Guru series, the Guru Supreme.  This Guru as the same core as the other one.  The difference is in the cover stock, they tweaked it but adding projection additives.

I punched the Supreme the same way I punched the Master,  50 X 5” X 35.

On the lane, the Supreme out hooks all the other Gurus.  I had to move 2 and 1 left compared to my Master.  It goes longer and makes a sharper break point than.  Because of the back end it covers more boards.

Like all the other Radical balls, the cover can be changed easily.  For people with more speed, you take the surface down to a 1000 grit or even 500 grit and the ball will still recovers great.  For people with lower ball speed, you can put some polish on it.  By doing it, you add some feet on the length of the ball and it makes a sharper turn.

This ball is designed for heavy oil paterns. For people who want to use it on a house shot, or use it more often, you can punch it with a low flare layout and you will calm this beast.

To conclude, the Guru Supreme is the most hooking ball on the market!  If you want to have a solution to long patern or want to curve the whole lane, here is the ball of choice.

Wow, that's Radical is the company's catch phrase..... it has never more appropriately been used than in the case of the Guru Supreme.  Continuing the trend of success in the Guru line is the Supreme.  This ball is the whole package when you're bowling on high volume.  It gives an incredible amount of traction, while still saving energy for powerful downlane motion.  Most heavy oil bowling balls hook early...this one is different.  It sees the front and mids but doesn't really change direction until about 40-45 feet.  This one will always be in the bag when I am bowling on higher volumes or newer lane surfaces.

Drilled up my Guru Supreme 45x5.25x75 (pin below middle finger) similar to my Ruckus Feud and Hell Raiser Revenge which both rolled great and have seen hundreds of games.  I love this layout on asym solids as it allows me to traction the front part of the lane when the heads are slick, yet have a controllable shape off the end of the pattern, making it ideal for fresh med/heavy conditions.

Out of box the Guru Supreme tractioned as quick as any ball in my bag, so I took it up to 3k to make it useable on a wider variety of patterns (I could always take it back down if I ever did run into true heavy oil).  As far as ball motion, it is the best of both worlds between my Hell Raiser Revenge (heavy rolling) as opposed to my Ruckus Feud (corners a little harder) but with a covertock that is a step stronger.  It is most effective when I am just inside the track with speed, but with speed/axis adjustments has given me good carry as deep as 5th arrow.
Thus far, I have found it to be an excellent ball for fresh and the first transition, but I have ran into carry problems beginning in game 3, where I am either forced too far left or am fighting to get the ball to the breakpoint consistently. In that situation, I would switch to a midrange solid like the Ridiculous or Diva and immediately find that extra length and downlane motion that I desire.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a tank to handle heavy oil, but not burn up around the corner that takes well to surface adjustments, the Guru Supreme will be a welcome addition to your bag

Likes:  I drilled my Supreme using dual angle of 65x4x35.  What can I not say should be the question.  This ball is just that good.  For a strong ball this ball gets through the heads very clean and starts its motion in the mid-lane but just saves everything for down lane at the break point.  This ball has a very smooth and very strong continuous motion that doesn’t quit.  It is just an amazing piece of equipment.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 41 Feet

Volume: 26.2 Ml

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS , Various distances as well with more volume

COMMENTS

Likes: As with the Guru line these are very strong cores wrapped around different but aggressive covers .I used my typical layout 45 x 5 x 70 hole down on val ,a little larger and deeper and put about two dozen games on it without making any changes to the cover . There are for me subtle differences but not night and day differences this and the Master . it maybe a little stronger and with a bit more pickup in the mids with a very strong continuous look . Tweaking the cover with different pads caused the usual reactions , but this ball needs oil !!!!!

Layout: Pinup
Out of box Finish
Lane:41 Ft THS
Left handed tweener
Rev rate 300-350

I like the control this ball has.You can play down and in with it.My very first set was 248,249,258 for 755 series. This house I rolled it in has carry down,So a simple One and One adjustment was all I needed to start striking again.I would have this in your bag.
