COMMENTS
Drilled with dual angle 60x1 1/2x50 and it is a monster. I can play the lanes left foot on 28 and roll the ball over 17. with the ball being pearl and layout the ball just gets through the heads so easy. comes off the break point and smacks the pins so hard with great carry.

Likes:pearl cover with the same block as the solid guru.

Dislikes:none love this ball

Likes: After the Guru, we thought it couldn't get any better....but now Radical comes out with this.  Just as much hook as the original Guru but with a MIGHTY backend.  Check out my review videos:

Dislikes:  Dry lanes.  This ball hooks a lot so it would be too much ball for drier and shorter patterns.

Likes: Wow didn't think they could make the original Guru longer and stronger but they did! The Mighty is a great compliment to the original! When the original Guru starts picking up to early or you've had to move so far inside its out of energy when it gets to the pocket you can make the switch to the Mighty and you'll be back in business. The Mighty, having the original Guru core with the extra trajectory additive, gets through the front part of the lane with such ease, gives you a nice read in the midlane then it flexed its muscle with an incredibly strong move on the backend. My first shots after having it drilled was on a pair that had some high rev players who had burnt it up pretty good but the Mighty made it look as if there was still a fresh shot out with how it cleared the front half of the lane. The Mighty and the Guru are a great 1-2 combination!

Likes: Wow... where should I start with the new Guru Mighty!!! When I heard this ball would be longer and with the same total hook as the Guru, it was hard to believe. I drilled mine 50x4.5x35, same as my original Guru. After throwing a few shots on our high volume house shot, I knew that this ball was special. It gets a few feet longer but RECOVERS!!! It does exactly what Radical states it does, just like in their Perception vs Reality videos. The Guru and Mighty are a great 1-2 punch.

Ball has the exact same core but they modified the additives in the coverstock to project it further. This ball performs, period!!

Dislikes: Doesnt like dry lanes

Likes: This ball gives you the length that you need, with a more aggressive backend than the original Guru. I was so impressed how much I could get the ball down lane to the break point before it started to move. I am able to use this ball on any lane conditions as long as I know when to move my feet. The ball is very controllable and I know what to expect every time it comes off my hand. One of the best balls I have ever used.

Dislikes: NONE!

Likes: I watched the ball review videos and wanting something that would be ultra-smooth and not long. So I drilled it up pin below middle / stacked. This ball was too smooth at out of box. Took it to 500 and saw great transformation - nice roll transition off breakpoint consistent - with continuous action through pins.

Specs:

13* Tilt
50* Axis of Rotation
19.5mph
400rpm

Layout A : 50 / 5 / 40

The new cover is phenomenal. Skids a few feed further than the Guru and just as much hook. When this thing hits the spot it rips through the rack like nothing I have ever seen. Love this on my house conditions and great on medium-long sport conditions. I just bowled a tournament and was playing pretty deep and striking at will. The cover gave me the skid I needed to get through the heads and mid lane. I was able to play 30 to 8 fading across the lane while no one else could get anything else to hook nearly that amount. The core is so strong, so it was able to come back from places a bowling ball shouldn't.

Layout:  135 drill with a 11/8 weight hole.

Not sure if you can perfect perfection but Mo and Phil have done it again. This hybrid ball is a great compliment to the original Guru.    The Guru Mighty provides extra length down the lane as well as angles like it is on rails.  I have switched to the Guru Mighty when my Guru and Yeti Unleashed are a bit too strong in the mid-lane.  This cover stock not only provides an extra foot of length down lane but also allows for a hearty angle entry to the pocket.  Bowling is a game of angles and the Guru Mighty will help you multiply your strikes.

Bowler Stats:
18-19 mph
400-425 rpm
5-7 degree tilt
40-60 degree rotation

Layout: 45 degrees by 5" by 45 degrees

Initial thoughts: The Guru Mighty has some big shoes to fill if it's going to meet the glory that the original Guru has received. On paper and on video, the Mighty is supposed to have the same overall hook potential as the original but with more backend reaction. I used the same layout for the Mighty as I did my original for a true apples-to-apples comparison.

On the lanes: WHOA! I didn't think it was possible but the Mighty is every bit as strong as advertised. On two fresh house shots, I could play almost the exact same line with both the Mighty and the original. Thrown on the same line, the Mighty could push about a foot or so more before making its move to the pocket. However due to its stronger backend reaction due to the hybrid cover, the Mighty for me was actually a half to whole board stronger than the original due to the built-in friction of the house shot. The main difference that I see between the two balls is obviously the increased downlane motion of the Mighty which leads to being able to stay with the ball longer throughout the session. Where the original might be tempted to burn up a little early and leave a few weak 10s, the Mighty can still corner downlane enough to snap out those 10s. To put it into a little more perspective, I was able to play well inside of 4th arrow with the Mighty and I was sawing out 10s even with my low tilt (even after 4 games!).

On longer, heavier patterns, I believe the Mighty to be about a board weaker than the original due to the slighter read of the midlane. As the lane transitions, you'll see the Mighty catch up to the original in overall hook before potentially surpassing it.

Closing Remarks: I hesitate to make such a bold claim early on, but I tend to feel that the Mighty will become more popular than the original Guru. I say this due to the increased versatility and the ability to stay with the ball longer throughout the set while still maintaining a metric ton of hook potential. My Mighty remains next to my original Guru at the top of my bag. The two combine to give me maximum hook potential with varying shapes on the backend. Get one, or get beat by it!

COMMENTS

Likes: Strong ball with a hybrid cover

Dislikes: None

The Radical Guru Mighty is a great compliment to the Guru. The Guru Mighty goes about 2 - 4 feet longer and continues stronger downlane like the Guru. With the 4000 box surface, it still gets through heavier oil conditions with strong continuation. I decided to drill my Guru Mighty pin up to compliment my Guru which is pin down, and it exceeded my expectations. I can go to the Mighty Guru when the lanes start to break down and I still need to stay left in the oil. I haven't found a condition where it hooks early. It snaps out the 10 pin like the Guru because of an increased entry angle.  The Guru Mighty is a little more versatile than the Guru because of the hybrid coverstock. It takes well to surface changes, and don't be afraid to add a little polish to give you a little more snap downlane.

The next big thing is at our door! The Guru Mighty is the newest ball in the Top Shelf line in Radical Bowling Technologies arsenal. For those who have the original Guru, this ball has same amount of hook but gives you about 3 feet more down the lane.

For those who doesn't have put you hand on a Guru yet, stop looking at the show and be part of it! Seriously, I never see a strong asymetrical ball that has such backend reaction! It's amazing. I never thought it was possible to play with that kind of ball beyond 21st to 23rd board without losing backend when you play such deep inside part of the lane. Believe me or not, I play with that ball, the Guru Mighty targeting 27th to 28th board (between 5th and 6th arrow) and 10th at break point in game 7 and 8 of an 8-game qualifying squad. The ball keep going the distance without loosing any energy and keep coming back at the pocket. I'm a 450 rpm, 17.5-18 mph type of player. Even my ball driller, who was playing on the same lanes and a very very good player, didn't understand how that ball continu to give me lenght and backend at this point. I think it's one of the most versatile ball I ever had in my bag.

My layout is 60*4.5*40, nothing to fency but it's very effective!

If you haven't try Radical balls yet, you have to try the Guru Mighty. You'll not be disappointed!
