The Rave On is the latest ball in the EZ-Use line from Radical Bowling Products.  Don’t judge this ball by the line it is in.  This ball utilizes many of the coverstock additives that are used in the Guru Line.  It is a hybrid coverstock, and strengthens the motion of the original Rave On.

I used the Most Versatile Layout on my Rave On.  That lays out to 70x4 3/4x50 for me.  I did not add a weight hole. 

The Rave On is EXTREMELY clean through the fronts.  Much cleaner than I even expected from a “low end” ball.  But the magic on the backend is where this ball shines.  Once it gets through it’s skid phase, it picks up and responds very quickly to the friction.  Which means it gets into its roll quick and hits very hard. 

I did notice I need to keep my angles fairly closed with the Rave On.  It’s hook zone is not long enough for me to open up my angles and really hook it.  But that was also not my intent for this ball.

The Rave On is going to be a great ball for beginners wanting a great ball at a lower price.  It is also going to be a must have for any bowler wanting to keep the ball in front of them and keep their feet more to the right.

The Rave On is the new piece in the EZ-Use line. It use the same core as the original Rave but wrap with a new, hybrid coverstock that features some of the popular friction enhancers that have been used in the Guru series.
In my case, I wanted that ball to fit between my Ridiculous and my Rave. The result is perfect. I drilled it 55x4x45. It’s a bit stronger than the original with more downlane reaction. I adjust the surface a couple of times at 2k or 4k just to make it reads the mids sooner. Like any of his predecessor, the coverstock is really friendly to any changes.
That ball is perfect for any bowler who wants a great ball for THS or to add a new piece in their arsenal.

Drilled my Rave On 50* x 5" x 30*.  For me, this puts the pin above my bridge and CG slightly off center.

The Rave On is the next release after the original Rave in the EZ Use Line.  The Rave was an exceptionally clean ball that allowed me (as a lefty) to get in and watch the ball tip on the back.  The Rave On is like the Rave, just more on the back of the lane. 

I found the Rave to be an exceptional compliment between my Rack Attack line and the Primo.  The Rave On is now fitting a void where the Primo (or the Primo Solid) is too much ball, but the Rave might have started burning up as it made its way through the pins.  The Rave On allows me to open the lane up more, when their has been an oil embargo at your center.  The Rave On, with its hybrid pearl cover, allows me to get farther right than the original Rave, and remain farther left than I would need to be with the Primo.  The cover also allows me to play direct, near the dirt on a house pattern, if there is no place to go by moving my feet right.  This pearl cover still gets the ball down lane with enough pop on the back to get the pins where they need to be.....laying down!

I didn't think I'd like an entry level ball more than the Rave....Having drilled the Rave and Rave On very similar, I can use the Rave On as a tremendous compliment to the Rave!
