If you're expecting a traditional pearl skid-flip reaction then you'll be surprised by this ball.  The new textured coverstock applied to this pearl Conspiracy creates a very unique ball reaction.  This is a ball that gets down the lane easily but shows more bite in the midlane and a smoother, yet powerful motion overall than most pearls.

Mine is drilled 45 x 4 1/4 x 35 and for me with slower ball speed and an average rev rate it fits my game and my arsenal very well. Most recently I've used it on WB Montreal (41') and it performs beautifully.

This is a really versatile ball that if you're looking for a more controllable motion than most pearls, yet do not want to sacrifice hitting power, this is worth your investment.  As always, Radical is at the top of the technology curve and this ball, with its brand new textured coverstock, demonstrates that commitment to developing the best products for all bowlers.

Intentions: To compliment my DV8 Frequency that has the same layout. The utilization of a 2.5″ pin to pap was intended to limit the flare and give me more overall control.

Results: This has been an absolutely incredible 1-2 punch with the DV8 Frequency at the top of the bag for myself. The TP-1 (Textured Pearl – 1) cover is able to push through the front part of the lane without issue while providing enough traction in the midlane to avoid blowing the breakpoint. I did crack the polish with an extremely worn 2k pad by hand just to bring the breakpoint a touch closer to the foul line. On higher friction lanes, I’m able to use this on fresh to control the over / under I typically see from cliffed house shots. The Conspiracy Theory has also made for a great transition ball, especially if I’m starting with the DV8 Frequency and still need a ball to be a bit more forward off the spot while being cleaner through the fronts.

Having been with Ebonite for the last 7 years, I haven’t had any experience with other brands, so forgive me as being new to Brunswick, DV8, and Radical I make comparisons to the ball reactions with which I’m familiar. The cover on the Conspiracy Theory is textured pearl, which is something I haven’t thrown before, and why I decided to try some surface on it.  This ball has a different roll than anything I’ve used.  It has a very readable strong forward rolling motion throughout the entire lane which I really liked.  I was able to get lined up just to the left of the oil line with a smooth motion at the break point.  The traction in the midlane was very noticeable.  With the surface adjustment, there is no squirt in this ball, and it didn’t burn up if I hit the dry a little soon.  Shots slightly left of target still finished strongly through the pins.  The overall motion off the spot wasn’t quite an arc, but it wasn’t really a hockey stick look either. It was something in between. The ball began to burn up a little after a couple games. Because the Theory is so readable, it will tell you when it’s time for a switch. I like this ball a lot, and think I will have good luck using it on flatter patterns as well as slicker league patterns.  For more information, check out www.radicalbowling.com.
