Add a little zing to your game with the Radical Zing! Hybrid high performance bowling ball! The core designed for the Zing! was done with the Katana in mind but with more dynamics offering the driller more options. This ball is wrapped with a combination of Radical's proven Forged 2 Solid and Forged 2 Pearl coverstocks. This core and cover combination creates more length and more backend recovery than the original Zing!. The Zing! also utilizes Radical's DynamiCore technology that increases the balls coefficient of restitution which causes the pins to reflect off the ball faster resulting in a higher stike percentage.

Zing Hybrid

I am a left hand bowler. My bowl speed is around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 280 rpms. I just recently drilled up a Zing Hybrid. The layout is 40 x 4 1/2 x 70. This is a pin below the fingers. I pick this layout for the new Usbc rule. No oil required on the outside portion of a lane. With this kind of oil pattern. I see wet/ dry condition.
This balls cover gives me length and continuation. With layout I’m controlling the backend motion a little. I have also have used it on Usbc Open championship pattern. And it works pretty good on that also. This a ball that will be in my bag for Usbc national championship and league bowling.

COMMENTS

The Zing Hybrid is a great complement to the Zing Solid.  The Hybrid is cleaner through the fronts then the original Zing but still has that angular downlane motion just like the Zing Solid.  If you love the Zing Solid, you gotta try out the Zing Hybrid.  Ball is MONEY

The Zing Hybrid is a great complement to the Zing Solid.  The Hybrid is clean through the front and less susceptible to the dry then the OG Zing. While I found the OG stronger off the spot then the Hybrid I found much more forgiveness in the Zing Hybrid. This would be a great ball right out of your bag.

Drilled the Zing Hybrid by Radical the other day.  The drilling we used was  60x5x70.  Bowling on a THS it definitely showed control off of the wet dry.  Even when it got to the dry a little early it didn’t want to dart and just continued making a nice arcing shape.  I can see this ball being a piece you can use early in blocks on THS or sport shots.  Smooth arc with a lot of hitting power!

LANE CONDITION

Length: 40 -ish

Volume:  light

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):Burned out house shot

COMMENTS

Likes:  I have about 410 revs, throw it about 16.5 mph, and have a high tilt. I drilled this ball and put my first practice on it the same time as my Hammer Redemption Solid. I was on a burned out house shot and was playing between 18 & 25 as the shot continued to break down. I was surprised how strong this ball actually is. It was only 2-3 boards weaker than the Redemption and just as much if not more hitting power. It clears the mid lane pretty well (probably due to the factory compound finish) then gets up and goes and hits hard. I've only drilled a few Radical balls so far but I like them all. Another keeper.  :-)

This is always a go to ball for me on any condition I encounter.  The ball is very clean and has great recovery on the backend.  The layout gives me that skid flip reaction and to add this ball has a smoother transition once the flip occurs.
