Without giving too much away, the new covers and additives we are working with, we are able to increase that sharp response without being overly susceptible to wet/dry over/under.

so what you're saying is that it should glide through the heads, without much sensitivity to backend/carry down oil?

Yes. That tech will be shared between the 3 brands with these new releases.

I'll take a good look at them as they come out.  Radical is intriguing me, but nobody throws any that I've notice in my local bowling center.  Hard to put the Stars down for an unknown...

if only there was a trade in discount.  donate a ball from a different brand to a youth league, and get a really good deal on a new one.   donate one of that brand get a better deal....

Explain to me "True Pearl" verses "Pearl"...and how is the new "True Pearl" different from the "Reax Pearl".

Not really a difference but I think I know what he was talking about. Some pearls have additives that texturize (mica). What I assumed a true pearl meant was the ball is pearlized without those additives.

Example, Defiant Edge - Pearlized.   Micro Bite cover with pearl additives added.  Totally Defiant - True Pearl, cover designed to be a pearl from the get go, not a solid cover modified to be a pearl(ized) ball.

The Totally slides on all oil, including carry down, while the edge could handle turning in the carry down
